An Expensive House That is Falling Apart

We stayed in the property for 15 days.The overall condition of the property is aged and poorly maintained. From the furniture to the appliances to the HVAC system, it is all falling apart. When we contacted the host to address issues there was little to no response.During our stay a number of lamps were broken or bulbs burned out. The refrigerator stopped working and it took 3 days to get someone to the house to fix the problem. Several hundred dollars of food supplies were lost.Two of the burners on the stove did not work properly. This was never addressed. The kitchen was poorly equipped for a 4-bedroom house. The glassware, silverware and plates were hit and miss.The shower in the master bath did not work properly. The fixtures in one of the other bathrooms did not work. The plumbing problems were never addressed.Most of the windows did not have screens making it difficult to open the windows for fresh air. The furniture in the family room was poor. The sofa sat on the floor rather than have legs and the other chairs were uncomfortable. One of the dining table chairs had a bad leg. The condition of the property was a big disappointment especially given the cost. We would not recommend this property.

Worst VRBO property

I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO‘s and for the money this was one of the worst properties I’ve ever stayed at. The property was a little rundown, and most of the amenities that are described on the listing didn’t work. The Wi-Fi never worked the entire time. We couldn’t use the TVs because there was no Wi-Fi to the streaming. My friends and I had planned on watching the BYU game on Wednesday night, but we couldn’t access it on the TVs. We had planned to do some business and work, but we’re unable because we had no Wi-Fi. The master bedroom shower didn’t get over lukewarm and had very low water pressure. Basically taking a cold shower with not much water. The carpets were filthy and all the furniture looked like cheap hand-me-down IKea furniture. The couch and chairs were so uncomfortable. You couldn’t even sit in them very long. We would’ve been more comfortable in a motel six. I have never left a bad review before, but I don’t want anyone else to be fooled by the listing. There are no real amenities that are worth anything on this property. We ended up leaving a day early because we needed to get back home and do some work that we were not able to do while we were there on our stay.

Nice place that could be great with a couple tweaks

We booked this house for our stay near Fountain Hills for my father’s funeral. The house was nice and large and mostly well appointed. The rooms have some separation for privacy so it was perfect for several adults. The house was clean and the location was great.My recommendations for improvement are as follows:1) Provide more than 3 coffee cups for a house that sleeps 10 people! This was very frustrating as we had to buy disposable cups for the duration of our stay.2) Fix the shower in the Master bath! PLEASE! There is little to no water pressure and what does come trickling out is either scalding hot or freezing cold. The other 2 showers were fine but the master bath was ridiculous.3) Replace any burned out bulbs throughout the house and fix the exhaust fan in the Master bath shower area.

Spacious and Beautiful (and worth the money)

We visited with family nearby and there are no hotels for 20+ minutes and the price per room of those hotels made this totally worth it. Full kitchen and laundry and a pool table. Big smart TVs in every room and common spaces. This may sound like a small thing but shampoo, conditioner, body wash are provided. Instacart and DoorDash deliver to this address as well. And finally, this is a beautiful home: I got a high five from everyone for booking it.

Getaway

We came to visit my father in law for his birthday. Great location close to Fountain Hills. Nice quiet neighborhood. Very spacious house. Beautiful, relaxing back yard. Will definitely stay here again!
