The person at the front desk set the tone for our stay, thank goodness it was only one night. As soon as I walked in, he mumbled, "I'm never going to get any work done." I tried to be cheery when I greeted him and asked how he was doing, to which he replied, "I'd be doing great it I could just get some work done." I thought to myself, does he not know that his job entails working with people and checking in guests??? He proceeded to let me know that my key "might not work" and gave me a map of the facility. Most front desk people circle where we are and where the room is and the best place to park. When I asked for a pen so I could write on the map myself he replied, "God, I hate this!" and I looked at him and he said "Here's your room key, breakfast is..." That was a surreal encounter and I was in disbelief the entire time. Did I look like someone he hated? Was I too nice? Definitely won't be returning to that place.

The suite was okay for the dollars per night. However the beds were not good at all. The bed I slept in slanted down on the edge so I had to sleep in the middle to be a little comfortable. The pillows were also lumpy and need to be replaced.

Rooms are much older than the pictures. Couch looked dirty and old. One thing we did like was having a small kitchen to make our own meals

I checked in late and was greeted by a very nice man at the front desk. The room was great! Love the kitchen and separate sitting area including a sofa. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean and efficient. The only problem I had was being able to hear other customers going in and out of their rooms. I would stay again.

Great hotel, definitely would recommend it to friends and family. Staff is super nice. Rooms were clean and nice. Pool was a bit small but still nice. This was my second time staying there and I honestly would stay there in the future.

It has a nice kitchen. (an Exceptional point) Two LED TVs The most spacious hotel at the similar price I have ever booked.

Not so good but it's just ok. Price is not too bad

Staff was great room was amazing very clean and comfortable. The only thing that sucked was the pool it was green but overall a very good place to stay.

Good home base for spring training games - spacious, clean, and quiet.

I recently stayed here for a week while at a training, the hotel was. Ice except for a weird rule about breakfast. When I got to the dinning room there were signs on all the door saying it was dine in only, but I had to rush to training so I just grabbed food and left, I felt uncomfortable and the second day I did the same thing and a staff member called me out on it. I won't recommend this hotel because of that fact.

I was disappointed as I expected more from the Hawthorn name. I walked into the building and immediately smelled old/musky! The carpet in the hallway was hideous ugly appeared to be old/outdated print. I went to receptionist to ask if I would have luck in another building. She said they are all the same and had been remodeled/updated. The pictures on the internet made this hotel look like all the other Hawthorn hotels. My bedroom did have the same decor/window treatments but the sofa sleeper was an old/outdated print & to me, NOT updated. The breakfast was somewhat the same as most Hawthorn hotels. However the waffle maker was OLD with crud caked on I guess from the years of use?

The front desk guy hung up on me when I was asking him info after I already booked hotel very rude when checking in

The front desk agent at check-in was very efficient. Very large room for the price. The breakfast staff didn't miss a beat, I even tipped him because I was so impressed at how well everything was kept stocked.

Great beds, love the full fridge and freezer. Hot breakfast was nice, and you can't beat the price...

Towels in room literally the size of hand towels. The bathroom carpet was 3 times bigger.

I loved it! it was like an apartment. I like that there were 2 tvs. the only downside would be the shower. When you move around in the tub, it creaks. But other than that, everything was super superior!

Clean, comfortable, and attractive - inside and out.

This place is awesome!!! Rooms very comfortable and inviting. Beautiful grounds and outstanding staff. Will definetly recommend to ALL our friends. Thank you Hawthorne for a wonderful experience.

All was good, except room 132 (Chandler AZ) needs repair, rug had large cut/torn gash in living room area. Some TV remote functions did not work on both remotes, channels would not change on one, closed caption did not work on other. Other wise visit was pleasant! Thanks

Hotel was pretty quiet, kitchen was complete, maid service was very good Martina's Staff/Team effort. Very convienient location with all stores & restaurants right there. Good Breakfast Bar & summer rates of $64.00 a night make this a winner. Two TV's. Hotel is nice but needs an update to carpeting, mattress & sofa in my opinion. You still sleep OK.
