Just everything was what I was expecting for friendly service and the food was excellent

As a student run Hotel located on campus, its location is always the best thing for my family. My son attends GCU and we go there twice a year to help him move in and out of apartments on campus. In the 2.5 years i been traveling back and forth, i have never had an issue.

It was very clean, the staff was nice. Loved that the parking was close to the rooms.

Staff was amazing very friendly! Only complaint is a million people in pool no social distancing they weren’t checked in the hotel but friends of one person checked in they stayed in the pool all day so I was unable to utilize. Bummer I really wanted to swim Clean didn’t have a lot of amenities or offer breakfast could find a better place cheaper

Didn’t know it was motel with outside doors. Scary elevator, dirty facility, man knocking on my door at 7 am for our “appointment”, and realized it was a very unsafe area.

If you are visiting a GCU student it is very convenient. Staff is great. Rooms are very clean but seem like a not so nice hotel has been remodeled to this very clean room. Bathroom is huge but setup is strange to me. Overall, I’d stay here any time we visit my son.

What I loved most about GCU Hotel is that many students who are in the Hotel and Hospitality program are actually working at the hotel! Talk about hands-on! #lopesup Here’s what I loved: 1. The look of the lobby and Canyon ‘49 restaurant are pleasing and clean. The GCU theme could be found throughout the hotel! 2. The staff was amazing. Happy and ready to please customers! 3. The pool (it must be heated because it wasn’t warm outside but people were swimming) was gorgeous! So pleasing to the eye with all sorts of activities. 4. Beds comfy and towels too. 5. Food was delicious at Canyon ‘49 Didn’t love: 1. This building must have been renovated so it indeed went through a tremendous facelift. That’s fine but the tile in the bathroom was dated and some tiles were floating. 2. The lighting in the room wasn’t bright at all. You had to turn on all the light to decently get ready. Overall, it was an excellent stay. I look forward to staying again when I visit my daughter!!

My expectations were really low at first, but surprisingly happy with the overall results.

It was a motel not hotel surrounded by fencing in an unsafe part of town. The photos were deceiving. One morning, a man knocked on my door and said he was there for his appointment. There was a half used water bottle in my room . As a woman who travels alone for work, it would be nice if Orbitz provided some type of safety rating for an area. I was later told by locals that I was in one of the worst areas of Phoenix.

No microwave or refrigerator otherwise everything was fine.

So very clean. Great support from staff. Killer food

Well its not in great area but your on pretty secure campus fenced in with guards everywhere .we felt safer than the other budget hotels in its price range .it was clean the pool large heated and area is very nice .staff great restaurant on site is nice ..would stay here again

Would like there to have been a small refrigerator in the room. We had some items that needed to be kept cold and weren’t able to without a refrigerator.

The pictures definitely make the property look much nicer. Rooms were clean, but small and dated

It was quiet and just wish every room had a fridge and microwave. But other than that is was a great stay.

The light kept coming on all night long and I could not get it to shut off I did not get any sleep

It’s nice but I was a little concerned initially when we saw several police cars and a helicopter over head!! But the staff have been helpful and brought us a rollaway bed !
