This property has the potential to be a 5 Star hotel/resort. The property and surrounding grounds are excellent. The rooms are modern and spacious. The problem, and it’s significant, is the food and beverage. We had the worst meal in Italy I’ve ever had in their “fine dining” restaurant w a family party of 18 which we set up in advance. It was awful, as was the service. We gave them another shot with just a party of three and it too was poor. The pool restaurant is much better so I advise you patronize the Osteria. They struggled w the basic cocktails- margaritas, martinis - and were very, very slow. This property needs management talent and a complete reset of its food and beverage strategy and service execution.

If you’ve stayed at a true five-star resort, I’d avoid this property because it will likely fall short of expectations. If you haven’t, it may be a fine first introduction to luxury. The rooms are nice, but the details are lacking. The gym is one of the worst i've ever seen, the tennis court is on the border of unusable, the food is very very very "meh...", and it’s in Umbria, not Tuscany, so this is not really a “Tuscan vacation.” I wasn’t completely let down. It’s fine.. definitely a 3/5 or a 3.4 out of 5, but it needs one or two more layers of polish to feel like a true five-star resort. It's OK, they tried.

Lack of hospitality

Being a member of Relais & Chateau,I expected much more hospitality. The Estate itself is stunning but the staff needs a training regarding hospitality ASAP ,specially the team from the restaurants (Cedri ,breakfast) . Exception with the front desk team, specially Maggie and Valentina ,who were so kind and helpful.

Super oplevelse på alle hylder. Her kommer vi helt sikkert tilbage igen.
