The strength of this hotel is its very central location. Step out of the door and you are right in the heart of the city and in the main shopping area. However that's also its weakness as its right next to the bars restaurants and night clubs so its noisy on a night - up to 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays . The hotels is tired and needs updating and some sound proofing. We had noisy neighbours and had to call the front desk to tell them to shut up at 4.am !
Ibis Perth is located in Murray Street. Close to Perth Central Rail Station and the Busport. This hotel is ideally situated for people using the Perth Arena complex, as its a short 5 min walk. 5 min walk to all shops in the CBD. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. The staff are pleasant, check in was quick and easy. My room was all I needed and was clean and fresh. The hotel restaurant had lovely food. My only complaint (if you could call it that) was the taps in the shower were hard to see which was which. On closer inspection the "C" and "H" and stamped into the tap, hard to see. And the water from shower went all over floor.
Location is great, close to main part of the city and far enough away for easy car access. Lots of eating places around and other services that may be required. Parking in the building is convenient however parking spaces are tight and needing to walk out of the building up the ramp is not ideal. Probably taking overnight parking option off site is better. Place is a bit tired and probably could do with some refurbishment especially carpets etc. Large tables in the breakfast servery area are ridiculous and makes serving yourself a nightmare. There did not seem to be enough staff either with many places with nobody there. may check all the options for next visit to Perth.
The location of this hotel is very centrally located in the Perth city center. Basically you can walk to most of the attraction place in city center. The reception staff is also very friendly and the room has all the basic amenity that you need for a hotel stay.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Very clean, got good nights’ sleep. Hotel is located in very good location and we could Uber or walk everywhere. Only grouse was the shower area was too small - once you get in there, you can’t turn as the space is very tight. Breakfast was good.
The Ibis is located in a good position in Perth and was very clean and comfortable. All the staff we encountered were most helpful, friendly and courteous. Our two night stay was on a room only basis so we cannot comment on the breakfasts from personal experience, but the choice appeared to be good as we passed the restaurant one morning. The hotel is a little dated and our room was a bit on the small side, but based on what we paid we have no complaints at all and recommend the Ibis.
We stayed here as it was very close to the arena where we were attending a concert. The hotel is fantastic for the price, central location, and parking in rear car park for $20 for 24 hrs. Would happily stay here again
On arriving at the hotel at 8.30pm after a long days travel I was impressed by the friendly and efficient service at check-in by Patrick. I also appreciated a drink voucher that was given as a member of Accor, and thoroughly enjoyed the beer at the bar. The room was on the 8th floor and was quiet, clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was hot and roomy, the only problem was possibly insufficient light in the bathroom. Breakfasts had a very good selection of food and very friendly staff. My only problem was with operating the lift, which I was informed was an acquired skill! It only took me 3 days to work it out, but it was enjoyable at the time!!! Well worth a stay as it is very central to the railway station and bus station and shops and restaurants abound. I will definitely stay here again as the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my 4 day stay.
We stayed here for one night mid week as we had a concert in the city. Parking is to the side and behind the building, quite tight but fine. Staff were very freindly and efficient. Had a standard room on the 4th floor which was nice. Very clean, comfy bed, free Wi-Fi & newspaper, tea & coffee. Great location for the arena & the city Centre, surrounded by bars & eateries. Breakfast was included in the price & was good. Would recommend & will stay here again.
We stay here every time we stay overnight in Perth. It is central, good value and easy check-in/out. Breakfast buffet is always very good and plentiful. Rubix Bar has a happy hour from 5pm-6pm. Wine only $6. Open bar so you can sit inside and look out the open doors or sit outside on the pavement and people watch. Great!
