I was very happy with our stay, we booked 2 nights and the pruce was ridiculously cheap so wasnt expecting alot - we were wrong. Great room, great staff and the restaurants down stairs were beautiful. The hotel was in a fantastic location and walking distance to all the greatest spots in the city
The ibis perth was in a perfect area to get around to the bars, restaurant and other night life. The perth arena was just down the road. They checked us in early. The room was comfortable, clean and exactly what you are looking for in a short stay where you are not going to spend much time in the hotel.
Ibis Perth Hotel is in an ideal location for business or leisure and less than one hundred meters to the Underground Train Station. It is also within easy walking distance to Elizabeth Quay, Northbridge, King Street, St George’s Terrace, Perth Arena and many other Perth attractions. The rooms are on the smaller size and are clean. The beds are comfortable, but the pillows are a bit too soft me, it would be nice if there was a choice of different pillows. The in-house restaurants are the Murray Street Grill and Rubix Bar & Café. The Murray Street Grill offers a buffet or continental breakfast and a la carte dinner and Rubix offers lunch and dinner. The breakfast at the Grill was basic, but was cooked well and was updated regularly. We had dinner at both the Grill and Rubix and the meals were tasty and good value. There is no gym or pool at the hotel, but you can use a nearby gym for a fee, but required too much paperwork to be completed before you could use the gym. All of the staff were friendly and I would be happy to return for another staycation.
Friendly and accommodating staff. A comfortable hotel in great location. Clean rooms, complmentary upgrade as we are Accor Le Club members. Overall a great stay and we are returning soon. Excellent value.
Location is excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient. As expected, rooms were small but very clean. Breakfast was of a good standard and variety was as expected for this level hotel. Only complaint was that a previous guest had smoked in a non-smoking room.
Service and staff very good. Room was more than satisfactory. Small negative point: shower floods the bathroom. Location: very good, in the CBD close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was very good, gained a few kg.
As a regular visitor to Perth I always try to book the Ibis, supposed the price is right. The quality of the rooms and the beds is perfect. The best and quietest rooms are towards the North. The breakfast restaurant is sometimes overrun and not enjoyable. But thats manly due to the behaviour of some guests.
Actually the location of Ibis Perth City Center is kinda good, but that's all. Service and staffs were just standard, compared to the price. I mean, this hotel isn't labelled as budget hotel, but... Room was considered small, nobody greet or welcome the guests, help yourself out. So don't expect to much baby.
How can anyone complain about this hotel for the price? Awesome location, walking distance to everywhere, nice rooms, nice brekky , comfortable bed, parking just behind the hotel is so convenient, also so convenient to get to coming from Fremantle, just of the freeway ! Worth every cent, good value, great to get away from the kids for a night 👍
I chose the Ibis for a second time, due to its proximity to the Perth Arena. While it has everything expected in a budget hotel I had one bad experience during my latest stay. My suitcase did not make the flight I took to Perth and the airline advised that it would be delivered to the hotel as soon as their courier started work the next morning. That morning I checked with the front desk and found that the case had not arrived by 7 am, so after breakfast I phoned the airline. After being placed on hold for 35 minutes, I was advised by the airline that the suitcase had been dropped off and signed for at 7:40 am. The person who has signed for it was the one I had previously spoken to, but for some reason she did not bother to phone me of have the bag sent to my room. When I told her of the unnecessary time I spent on the phone with the airline, as the bag was already at the hotel, her only comment was, "Oh, Really?" and she obviously didn't think an apology was called for.
