The hotel is perfectly placed to explore the city and surrounding area. It is near the bus train and underground stations so no car is needed. Some great pubs and restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful the room was cleaned everyday with new towels and bedding. Highly recommend
I can't speak highly enough of the experience I had during my stay at Ibis Perth. Upon arrival in the evening, I gave reception a call as I did not know how parking worked for the hotel, being unfamiliar with the area (I come from Sydney). The receptionist, Katy, answered my call and guided me with great detail, allowing me to park my car at the front of the hotel to drop off my luggage and get specific directions into the Wilson carpark. After that, she kindly provided directions to the nearest places to eat when I inquired, and happily agreed to notify me when I received a package from work. Alongside all this, Katy was kind, cheerful, funny and incredibly pleasant to talk to throughout my stay, definitely helping me smile after stressful days at work. During my stay, I tried the breakfast buffet and soup from the dinner menu, both of which tasted fantastic. On my last morning, I had to leave a package at reception for a courier to pick up after I left. The receptionist on at the time, Amber, happily provided me equipment I needed to ready the package for pickup, even assisting me at times, and after I had arrived back in Sydney even gave me a follow up call to confirm it had been picked up. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of customer care given by Amber, and also thoroughly enjoyed the conversations I had with her during my stay. Overall, I had an amazing time during my short stay at Ibis Perth, heavily facilitated by the kindness and hospitality of two exceptional members of the team, Katy and Amber. Please extend my warm thanks and gratitude to them. I look forward to returning to Ibis Perth when I can!
Stayed 5 nights. Good location, clean room. Normal breakfast buffet . Only thing is the toilet is quite small. The shower stall was the type with glass door which was quite crammed . Allowed us to check out at 12
This is an Ibis so no surprises here, but the staff was really helpful and the in house restaurant was great! It does seem like Perth has a fire alarm problem, but it was on my last day and during the day. I would recommend to stay here for sure.
Very good hotel this.when we arrived the weather was a bit cold so we asked for the heating to be put on but it had gone wrong or they did not have any. The weather improved later so it was no longer an issue. Could not find any more faults . Good room.Sheets and towels changed everyday. Reception very helpful. Must mention Amber on reception .She made our short visit a pleasure . And in the Bar,Carmen , Recommended
Very close to shopping area and many food outlets, Car rental is also within walking distance. You can also walk to Chinatown where Chinese food is available. Breakfast spread is reasonable. Room is clean and bed is sufficiently comfortable. Reception staff are very helpful. Thanks
We recently travelled to Perth for Business and chose the IBIS Perth due to it's locality. The staff we more than helpful and we were upgraded to a premium room. The room was clean and the bed very comfy. We had breakfast the next morning which was lovely and freshly cooked. Thank you Ibis Perth we certainly would stay here again.
Room was very clean and neat on a daily basis The location being so close to the Murray Street Mall is handy. The restaurant is excellent with good service and the Rubix Bar is very welcoming. Reception assistance is very good with smooth arriving and departure service.
My agent made a booking for 5 days starting today. On arrival I was told that indeed I did have a booking for those days but not until next year. Now I'm told by my agent, obviously incorrectly, that the system won't enter a booking more than 12 months ahead but there it is. Ibis are not responsible for that stuff up but they are responsible for what followed which was to tell me that they were currently fully booked. That turns out to be quite untrue as my agent tells me they were showing availability at and after the time I was turned away. Further, they made no response to my request for assistance or advice as to where I might go for help other than to repeat their first untruth namely that they were full. It was difficult and 50% more expensive to find inferior accommodation because a cruise boat had just arrived in port and I'm sure Ibis was keen to let out the room they wouldn't offer me for more than I had paid My agent has requested a refund of my fully paid booking and I'm told that it will take them 10 days to return the funds to my account. I'll be looking for an opportunity to return comparable service to any connected with this utterly unworthy business.
I stayed at this hotel on a stopover in Perth for one night. It is situated right in the heart of the city centre on Murray St, right in the heart of the main shopping area - you couldn't ask for a more central location. The hotel staff were pleasant and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I got the feeling that there is a mix of people staying here for business as well as sightseeing. You can store your luggage for free behind reception if you have checked out.
