Sea Folly is a fabulous beach house with amazing sea glimpses and a lovely enclosed garden. This wonderful holiday home is just a short walk from both the glorious golden sands of Perranporth Beach and its bustling town centre, which is full of independent shops, cafes and restaurants; everything holiday makers could need.
Beautifully refurbished throughout to a high standard, this light and airy holiday home features up-side-down living. The first floor features a delightful balcony which overlooks the garden and sea beyond; this is accessed via the lovely dining room where everyone can gather round the large table and enjoy family feasts. Whip up lazy breakfasts or wonderful home-made delights in the well-equipped kitchen; and with the handy dishwasher you will find clean up a breeze. After long days at the beach, come home and relax in the cosy sitting room; the sofa can transform into a handy double bed allowing groups of up to ten guests to enjoy a holiday together.
Three out of the four bedrooms are located on the ground floor; there are two twin rooms, both of which can be super-kings on request and also have direct access out to the enclosed garden. The third bedroom is a double room; all three of these rooms are serviced by the family bathroom with a shower over bath, wash basin and WC. The final bedroom is located on the second floor and not only enjoys a king-size bed but beautiful views over Perranporth, towards the beach and out to sea; it also comes with its own en-suite shower room. Outside, via the ground floor is a lovely and enclosed garden with a decked area, patio and barbecue.
The property has recently been fitted with state of the art solar panels which are connected to a SolarEdge battery, with such it is capable of producing the property with half the energy needed required in the winter and significantly more in the summer; when coupled with the heat pump and high levels of insulation, the owners have come a long way in de-carbonising their home and taking the next step to sustainable holiday homes in Cornwall.

A nice place to stay
The house is lovely. The location for beach holiday or doing travelling around Cornwall is great and can be recommanded.
We had a great time there.
There were some issues that would be good to know: The house is advertised for 10 people, but there is only 4 bedrooms, the last couple will have a sofabed. Next to the sofabed are no storage facilities for clothes and it becomes quiet busy in the living room. The layout of the house regarding the bathrooms is not ideal. Making the top bathroom a en-suite bathroom - less accessable in general, while the downstairs bathroom is used by 6 people.
The biggest issue was the equipment in the kitchen. There was not enough for 10 people without constantly washing up/dishwasher use. There were no rubbish bags (yellow and recycling) left on our arrival which you definitely need. Pans with Teflon surface were damaged (2 were replaced during our stay) and should be replaced.
When raised some of our problems by email the company responded quickly and fixed what was possible.
Cleanliness could be improved, esp. around the living area and kitchen area.
