I grew up here actually on Ward Hill. We moved away as adults so when we come home we normally stay with family or in a hotel. This brought such warm memories. The cabin and pond brought beautiful memories back. I highly recommend staying here.

The Duckpond cabin has marvelous craftsmanship. While sitting at the kitchen table, looking out the window, I felt like I was in a park. The landscape was meticulously maintained. The front porch has a swing that overlooks the duck pond. It is very quiet and peaceful. This is a wonderful place to unwind. The kitchen was well equipped and included a Keurig coffee pot.There was an abundance of fluffy towels. The bathroom heater worked great. There was enough hot water for three adults to use the walk in shower back to back. The mattresses were comfortable. Firewood was available for the fireplace. Check in was easy with the electronic door code. My favorite part was the peaceful park like setting. I would definitely stay here again.
