Good value hotel to stay near Penang road. Staffs were friendly and plenty of food nearby

Had a wonderful holiday trip to Penang. The hotel is nearby all attraction, food was nearby and the rooms was clean and the right size

Nice and clean, a bit old. Could hear loud music with loud base on the 10th floor from Friday night till Sunday around 11pm- 2:45am.

Not right on the beach if that is what you want. But this hotel has friendly, helpful, English speaking staff. Whenever we needed something, they were there to help.

This place was particularly good value. I was particularly impressed with the size of the room (although we got upgraded). The room felt clean and spacious, and it was comfortable. As is usual of hotels these days, Wi-Fi was limited to two devices per room. Location was probably the only thing I could fault to an extent, being somewhat off the main tourist attractions. It is particularly far, but you could definitely find something closer to the main attractions.

Overall pleasant. Ask for toothbrush but never get it. Service lacking due to many staff on leave for Raya Holidays. Location wise is good for people that like to explore the old city of Penang, within walking distance.

Pretty good location. It's right across from the Red Garden food court. Walking distance to some great restaurants and bars.

The hotel was easy to find . We were greeted graciously . We used the local busses , but taxis were always available . We went to Chowrasta market , saw the street art, used the pool, went to the beach and the top of Penang Hill.

Perfect location for the price they charged. The pool and the gym are small but well maintained.

In central Georgetown and right next to a strip of bars

Good value and very convenient on location. Though cleanliness is ok and a bit tired. It is overall pretty good value for money.

I stayed at the Bayview for 3 nights. It's an ideal location to explore Penang and especially Georgetown. I booked the hotel on sale, for about $50usd/night so was a little concerned what the quality would be like - but no need to worry! Room was clean, large, and comfortable. Cleaning staff wasn't overly thorough, but the room was clean. It's not a new hotel, but everything is clean and my stay was great. Great value! There's also a tour company located on the ground floor that is very helpful - they can help you book tours, but I also found them very helpful just to get an idea of what sights to see and how to get around the island.

Perfect location for exploring Georgetown. Very close to food, markets, and museums. The staff here is great, just ask for whatever you might need.

Our experience was horrible. When we arrived the hotel rooms smelled like urine and the carpet and bedding was stained. We had booked for 3 nights and we tried in vain [...] to cancel the final two nights of our stay. [...]
