Worst hotel

Hotel not as pictured. Rooms were shockingl. felt like we stayed in the Bangkok Hilton it was that bad. Would have been better in Fawlty Towers.slept on a towel on top of the bed as not comfortable getting into it. more to say but stayed in some dumps over the years but this one was bad. Our 4 travelling companions can verify The Manageress was not what you would expect. get this hotel off the site

I am surprised Expedia have this dump on their books, it is awful. The swimming pool area in particular is dreadful. 5 ancient wooden rotting sun beds with mismatched seats, the beds do not alter their tilt position. Filthy, cracked & broken tiles make the pool surround an ugly death trap. The staff are often absent, leaving a mobile number to call if anything is needed. The room hadn’t seen a lick of paint for years & the bathroom left a lot to be desired with an ancient dripping tap & very old shower issuing little water. The toilet was clean & the bed comfortable. Good location!!

Easy to walk to the beach, walking street. 7-11 is located at the next hotel. Central Plaza is right in front of hotel. Quiet street at night, good for sleeping. Hotel is needed renovation, air-condition was too loud. You got what you paid. Overall was good for me.

BYO drinking water

This place was ok, you get what you pay for... only problem was when I ran out of drinking water in the middle of the night the old woman at reception told me there was no more, yet I could see crates of it in the next room. She wanted me to go out and buy my own but then happily accepted 40 THB for 2 small bottles! It's a basic necessity of life, so hot there and like anywhere else in SE Asia you can't drink the tap water - and no kettle in the room to boil some to drink later. Apart from that it's quite good for the price and the gentleman on reception in the day was very courteous.

Great location but quiet.

Really like this hotel. Just near the bars and beach but because it faces the plaza shopping centre and with no bars in soi 9 it is the best of both worlds. Cleaner is lovely girl and other staff very helpful.

Good location close to all amenities bars restaurants and beach. Big modern shopping mall opposite. But a quiet road after midnight so easier for a good night's sleep. The Hotel does require some modernisation, no double glazing. A two minutes walk and you are at the heart of the action.

Next door is a building with a famous hotel, large boutiques, and a shopping mall. There are transportation routes going both ways on both sides of the hotel, so transportation will not be an issue. There is also a convenience store next door, so that will not be an issue. Depending on the room, you may need to climb a spiral staircase to get to the first floor and upper floors, which can be very difficult if you are carrying a heavy bag. Do not expect a view worse than Marco Riviera. My room was in the parking lot. However, the cost was cheap, so I will consider it a compromise. If you are looking for a great hotel, I would recommend a hotel that is 5 to 10 times more expensive than this one. This is a place for people who want to upgrade their hostel experience.

Loved the owner but the shape of the hotel is very old and smells bad from the toilets. Perhaps time to renovate? You also need to ask for the room cleaning......
