Let me do you a favor - don’t stay here. It may be called ‘Sea Breeze’ but there ain’t no breeze and the sea is a good 20min walk away. Do you enjoy constant road noise? Do you enjoy every night from 7pm onwards loud music from the open bar next door? Then you’ll love this OYO property! This place is yet another example of the mis-match between what is advertised on Expedia and what you really get. Apart from making money I don’t know why Expedia doesn’t work harder to carve out good, clear and honest representations of what you can expect. If I knew what I was in for with this joint I - obviously- would not have booked. Once you’ve paid your ridiculous 500 baht deposit you’ll get a room but don’t expect a kettle or microwave. If you are an early riser like me you’ll have to wake the doorman to unlock the door just so you can hot water for coffee or tea. Urgh! There is literally nothing in the room worth 500 baht to even break but you’ll find the dusty, outdated price list of things they’d charge you for if you went full crazy. If you get a place in the road expect traffic noise galore! Yay! So relaxing! On the first Saturday night I was there I had to endure 4 hours of the villa across the street playing music at broadcast, shake your windows level - unbelievable! The road ain’t even in the beach! The area is predominantly Russian and French expats so expect that type of foreigner community. Just avoid guys! Spend more get yourself a decent place.
