When we arrived, the temperature in the living space was nearly 90°. We called the host and requested a phone call to explain the problem and a couple other challenges. Despite this request, I never received a phone call, even when I sent written communication through multiple means, asking them to please call . We received some limited communication via email, but the host, overall, was not responsive to our concerns. In addition, we requested check in information the day before check in, so that some of our family could check in on time. We were participating in activities that our phone and Internet access. I was on hold for over an hour trying to speak to a live person. I left several messages, asking for a return call. Again, there was no return call. After I contacted VRBO directly, I finally received an email where the host refused to give any check information until 15 minutes before checking in time. Even as simple email telling us that we could check in through the front desk would have been appreciated. This was extremely inconvenient. The amenities were great, the floor plan was great, the kitchen was well stocked, but we were not able to enjoy the living space for much time we were there. The other part of our family stayed at another property was older, the host was very responsive. We had to all hang out there due to the extreme heat on this property. It was hotter In the room, than outside. It was a horrible experience due to mostly absent host
