Kitchen needs linens, there weren’t any. Dining table has a sticky residu. We had to buy a tablecloth to use. Full kitchen as advertised should include crockpot.
Excellent place to stay, we enjoyed every moment. It was clean, inviting, geared towards families with kids (basement with some games & bunk beds), and had most of what you would find at home. The wood burning fireplace was amazing. We grilled out every night on the deck. Gas grill worked perfectly! Hot tub was awesome, basement fireplace and football games on TV were enjoyed by all. Bedrooms were good sized and the 3 levels of the home allow plenty of space!! Only a few small recommendations to the owner - the toilets are all old and need updated - they had notes on them to “hold lever down while flushing” and looked old and grungy…the thermostat looks like it’s from 1990 with a “slide” style adjustment where you can’t really dial in the temp (also note that there is no A/C for the summer). Master bedroom is BRIGHT in the morning and needs better blinds - especially over the balcony door. Not a biggie if you’re an early riser, but some like to sleep in. The neighbor has 3 medium sized dogs that were running around (they were attended but not on leashes) while we were there and were barking loudly. We didn’t have issues, and is obviously not something the VRBO owner can control. I’ll end the review as I started it - Overall amazing place to stay with great location, amenities, and the feeling of home. If we’re back in the area, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Many thanks to the owner for a wonderful place that allowed me and my family to make lasting memories!!!
