Buon appartamento e pessimo proprietario

L'appartamento rispetta internamente la descrizione, ma il bagno è minuscolo. Per il resto ha gli svantaggi della (relativa) vicinanza al centro, come la presenza di ristoranti e negozi costosi (cappuccino a 4,5 ), e gli svantaggi della periferia, come la poca pulizia delle strade e gli schiamazzi notturni. Il problema è stato l'host che si è risentito perché gli abbiamo chiesto un secondo ventilatore a causa del caldo veramente insopportabile (l'appartamento è sprovvisto di aria condizionata). Il giorno dopo la partenza, ci ha accusato di aver rovinato le lenzuola di uno dei letti. In realtà, dormendo con quel caldo asfissiante senza A/C, ho sudato macchiando le lenzuola (macchie facilmente lavabili in lavatrice). Il mio rimarcare l'assenza del condizionatore ha fatto ulteriormente risentire l'host che, non potendo affermare che non dovevo sudare, mi ha accusato di aver vomitato nel letto (sic!). Ha insistito con una certa supponenza e sono stato costretto a tagliare il discorso dicendo che avrei segnalato l'accaduto a VRBO. Dopo due settimane, l'host mi ha accusato di aver rovinato il materasso. Gli ho fatto notare che era trascorso troppo tempo perché l'accusa fosse credibile e, soprattutto, che la macchiolina rotonda sul materasso che mostrava la sua foto era incompatibile con le strisce di sudore sul lenzuolo: probabilmente questa macchiolina era imputabile a qualche ospite precedente. In conclusione, l'host ha mostrato un atteggiamento inadatto al suo ruolo.

The apartment is lovely. Just as shown. Bed is very comfortable! (not easy to find). Sunny and quiet. But walk 1, 2 blocks to a great area. If you want to avoid the tourists and just be in a real French neighborhood, this is for you. But if you want to go there (St Michel, Louvre, all that), it's very easy. Metro Pernety 2 blocks. Or walk in some cases, if you’re a walker. The stairs were no problem at all for us. Only warning: if you are a "large" person in any sense of that word, the bathroom will be a challenge.

Wonderful Place To Stay

We had been in Europe for 25 days when we arrived at this gem of an apartment in Paris. The apartment was COMPLETELY appointed with every appliance, every kitchen tool, etc. and even local travel guide books. VERY Close to Metro and bus lines that take you to anywhere you want to go. Within 100 yards of the front door there are bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, etc. We absolutely recommend this place for anyone wanting a clean, cute, safe, Parisian experience.

Wonderfully organized apartment

We were fortunate to stay in this lovely flat for three nights as part of a 10-day stay in France. The apartment is cozy, beautifully designed and organized, very comfortable and convenient to public transportation. We would certainly book again. Bright, welcoming apartment

This was our second stay in this pleasant apartment. It is situated just a few minutes from the metro and buses, rue Raymond Losserand with all its little bakeries, butchers, grocery stores, restaurants etc. and in easy walking distance to the beautiful rue Daguerre. The bathroom is very small even for Parisian standards, but has everything one needs. A great place to stay in Paris

truly enjoyed staying at this property. great location, easy access to metro and montparnesse station. host responded quickly to any needs and/or concerns. just be aware that this apartment is on the third floor; there is no lift. lissa very helpful getting our 'stuff' down to the bottom floor when we checked out. if you crane your neck out the living room window, you can see the tower at night!

Only thing I would say is it’s compact. That’s not a negative just a statement. Great apartment, great location for sightseeing Paris. Close to metro and plenty of food/shops. Great decor as well. Would stay again in a heartbeat (just me and the wife though)

Too short of a trip in Paris

The suite was the perfect stay away from all of the hustle and bustle Paris has to offer. Close to a street with shops, bakeries, fromangaries, cafes, we were always able to get something if needed. Also walking distance to all of the attractions we wanted to see, I think we only used the metro once our whole stay! The suite was quiet and a lovely getaway!

Check-in process: Excellent, someone was there to welcome us and showed the apartment Bed and pillow: Bed ok, but pillows are bad. This place needs new pillows urgently. Caused neck pain. Bathroom:As tiny as it can be, but it works and good hot water, clean A/C:n.a., did not use it, did not need it Living and other areas: Good, well decorated Kitchen/coffee: Kitchen well equipped, good coffee machine and excellent coffee. Location: Ok, it is a few blocks away from metro and bus route 59. Good coffee shops and some nice restaurants nearby. Still there are better areas to stay in Paris. THE BAD: We had a problem with the pillows provided as follows: Pillows are huge and of the cheapest material possible. The pillow cases are too small so the pillow does not fit, causing it now to give in. This affected out experience especially because we were not given a solution or acceptable alternative. After spending hundreds of dollars we were stuck with bad pillows

There’s two types of hosts: those who really care about their guests and those who are trying to maximize profits. Actually most hosts are a combination of these two goals. The small things? Montparnasse 3rd floor

The quiet apartment was conveniently located near restaurants and cafes. There was lots of light, both natural and artificial. Unfortunately the bathroom was minuscule and had no storage for guests’ toiletries , which was very inconvenient. It was advertised as having a cooktop and oven, which it did, but there were no pots or pans or cooking utensils, nor a cutting board. There were an iron and ironing board and first aid kit. It just lacked organization.

Lovely Paris apartment

3rd floor apartment in the 14th arrondissement, close to subway and restaurants. The apartment is small but well equipped with tasteful furnishings. We were there on a 91 degree day and the apartment was quite comfortable for sleeping. The owners provided thorough instructions, directions and suggestions of places to shop and eat. Perfect Place!

We had a wonderful time at this property! The hosts were kind, amazing, always available, and helpful. They had a bottle of bubbly waiting for us upon our arrival. The flat itself was the perfect size and had all the modern amenities one could need and was well stocked. They even supplied more then one set of towels, which was greatly appreciated since we stayed there for two weeks. The location was perfect - close to the Pernety metro stop, which made getting around and to CDG really easy. Also close by are numerous cafes, grocery stores, bakeries, and a wonderful hardware store as well as delightful Rue Daguerre. We highly recommend this property and thank you, thank you to our hosts for coming to our aide when I lost my cell phone before we had checked in. You made an unfortunate and worrisome situation extremely manageable. Bon journée!!
