Philippe was an excellent host starting from the moment we booked. He is very responsive and gave good counsel on our airport transfer plans. We also had travel delays due to the Eurostar tunnel issue on 12/30 and he was very supportive while we sorted out how to get to Paris and new check-in times. The apartment is comfortable and attractive and was just right for two adults and two large teen boys. Our youngest used the sofa bed and so everyone basically had their own room. Having two full bathrooms with showers was great. One has a bathtub and one is smaller with open plan and a sliding glass door in the primary bedroom. No laundry but there is a good laundromat one block over that is clean and only takes coins and small euro bills. There are two small kitchen counters set up for making coffee/tea but I wouldn’t plan to cook meals there. Great kitchen table though if you want to bring food home to eat. The best part of this apartment is the location. It was easy to get anywhere in Paris from this address but the immediate neighborhood is fantastic. Don’t miss the Picasso Museum, morning coffee at Cortado, delicious pasta at Big Love. We were visiting over the holidays so we didn’t get to see the local food market in full swing - the hours didn’t match our schedule. But it looks amazing. In summary, this is a great place to stay if you are ready to explore Paris and like to be in the heart of great food, shopping, culture.

Host was extremely welcoming, helpful and accommodating and stay was in a fabulous and convenient location. It had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Close to train stations, bars, restaurants, shopping and more.

Philippe was an exceptional host. The building is awesome and authentic—400 years old! The suite has all modern conveniences including great ventilation and new windows. Loved the location and architecture. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was adequate. Dishwasher was nice to have.

Felt right at home in a fantastic neighborhood

J’adore Le Marais! This is my 2nd time in Paris, first with family, and this apartment was perfect. It had the space we needed. It was both charming and functional. Everything we needed was right outside the front door. I’m in London right now and wish I was back in Le Marais. Phillipe was a kind and responsive host, ensuring we had everything we needed. This was our first stop on the first family adventure to Europe and I was a little worried about the time change, etc., but this cozy apartment eased our transition perfectly.

Excellent stay in an excellent spot

Charming, historic building with all the modern amenities. Phillipe was wonderfully communicative and even let us drop our bags off early. Cool neighborhood with plenty of boutiques, restaurants, and cafes. Check out the Little Red Door cocktail bar directly across the street for fantastic drinks.

Great area with excellent restaurants and café. Apartment was perfect for 3 adults. Philippe was excellent in telling us all we needed to enjoy the area. Only problem we had was the small bathroom shower could use a curtain to contain water.

The perfect spot

The apartment was adorable and quaint. Just perfect for the four of us. There was only one AC unit in the living room, but it wasnt too hot during our stay in August, so it was fine. Its fairly centrally located l, and you can find anything you need within a 10 minute walk. Phillipe was very gracious and welcoming as well. 10/10 wpuld stay again.

A wonderful stay at a wonderful home!

The place was perfect, charming street, amazing location, the courtyard quaint. When we asked where the toaster was, Philippe went out and bought one for us. He was gracious, helpful and a wonderful man. We would stay in this location again and be delighted to do so. We had two adults and three small kids (10, 7 &5) in the apartment and it wasn’t feeling too crowded.

First off, the fact the house was built in 1730 is super cool! Those wood beams in the pictures aren't just for aesthetics, it's actual construction from the 1730s. The location is on a quiet street, accessible to all sorts of shops and restaurants within five minutes. The subway is a 10 minute walk away. The host is very nice and helpful. The house was very cramped for six people. No storage room for hardly any luggage. (Max 4 people should stay here) The bathrooms were very clean, but the rest of the house was clean at first glance, but the more you were there the more you realized the house definitely needed a cleaning overhaul. lastly, it was advertised to have air-conditioning, but the air-conditioning simply turned out to be a little mobile unit in the front room which didn't cool the entire apartment.

Wonderful apartment

This was in an incredible location! Right in the middle of Marais with many cafes and markets. And an easy walk to the river and many museums. I felt like we got a real experience of Paris here. The apartment is small but comfortable. We had a problem that Philippe handled immediately…. he stayed in contact to make sure all was well. All in all it was a great experience.

Nice apartment, great location!

Property was sufficient. Cute apartment with most everything you need. Second bedroom was small with no storage. The location was fantastic. Easy walk to metro, restaurants, shopping, and some sights.

Great Location! Great service!

What a check-in! Philippe walked us through every detail of the apartment, as well as places to go eat in the neighborhood. We did take him on one, and was impressed. Great location, and quiet. Ground level, and very walkable area.

Paris stay

Apartment was very good. It is not in an area of Paris we have stayed in before and was a bit further to a metro station than we have experienced. Philippe very helpful and prompt to be in touch. A good stay thank you.
