Close to Paris and train station Rooms were clean but small Breakfast choices were limited. We prepaid for 2 mornings breakfast. We asked not to have breakfast the second and they refunded the money. I’m an advantage plus member which I pay for annually of about $300 a year. They did not give us an up grade but late did give late checkout.
Easy and fast check in. Front office staffs very friendly and helpfull. Thanks to Mr. Luc and Ms Frances. Good hotel with modern minimalist design. Room and bathroom not big but nice enough. Bath room is very clean. Best location hotel. Walking distance to Eiffel. Cafe with france style beside hotel. Minimarket just 50m from the hotel. Easy to access to and from hotel since the Metro station in front of the hotel. Walking distance to Mc Donald and Cafe. The minus one, house keeping forgot to take the trash from our bath room.
Excellent hotel! Friendly staff, great location (5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and right next to the Metro), great room! It's my favorite hotel in Paris (stay there every visit and I'll be back within the next year!
Quite underwhelmed with this hotel, my own fault for booking the wrong one (beware, there are 3 with VERY similar names). Also, do not pay for a room with views of the Eiffel Tower, it's a gimmick, all that can be seen is the very top sticking out above adjacent buildings, very unimpressive. Air con in room didn't work, apart from that, hotel was clean and well presented
centrally located opposite duplex metro and 5 minutes walk to eiffel tower. rooms are quite large and comfortable for Paris and they have been recently renovated, Bathrooms are really top class, great lighting and immaculately clean. breakfast quite wholesome and can be improved in quality and selection. the only downer.
Its Paris.. and its a Mercure. That sums it up. Mercure standard with small-ish rooms and not a lot of additional services. The room was clean and comfortable. With only one lift, there was always a bit of a wait. Front of House staff were efficient but not very friendly or welcoming. The hotel is well-located- about 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, the river and the hop-on-hop off bus, and with a Metro station just across the street. There are also some handy local shops just around the corner, and a number of restaurants to choose from, just outside the hotel. The street and surrounding area was a little noisy- so request a room at the rear of the hotel.
If you've stayed in a Mercure before you kind of know what to expect. The rooms are a little small in this hotel but comfortable with 2 chairs, a large bed and decent en-suite bathroom. There is little in the way of extras in the hotel but if you're in Paris, you likely aren't planning on spending time in a hotel lobby. Easy walk to the tower and the 10 mins quoted on the website is overstated for people of moderate fitness. There are bistros all around the hotel and a metro station across the road. Breakfast area is small so I would imagine in season you would have to time it well but the food served is good quality.
A fabulous location and the front of house staff are lovely. Our booking came with breakfast included and that did not disappoint. Very nice selection in a great setting and the ladies working there were helpful, friendly and polite. The room was clean but small. Superb view waking up to the tower against a blue Parisian sky. Comfortable bed and no real noise from the street or the metro line outside. The cups in the room are paper and the glasses are plastic which gave it a certain motel feel. We had to spend a day in the room doing some work for the conference we were attending and twice the cleaners came in despite a do not disturb sign hanging on the door. Thank goodness it was not there because we were trying to sleep.
The location was great. across the road from the train station which is simple to get around on. The room I had was right next to the lift which was noisy . the bed was ok . bathroom was good - modern and clean. Staff weren't overly helpful. Loved the location one stop on the train for the eiffel tower.
The one elevator did not work for three days and my room was on the fifth floor depsite having two heavy luggages to take up. The checkout process was slow. Phone calls were given priority. Everything out of order and not fair.
