Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

centrally located opposite duplex metro and 5 minutes walk to eiffel tower. rooms are quite large and comfortable for Paris and they have been recently renovated, Bathrooms are really top class, great lighting and immaculately clean. breakfast quite wholesome and can be improved in quality and selection. the only downer.

Its Paris.. and its a Mercure. That sums it up. Mercure standard with small-ish rooms and not a lot of additional services. The room was clean and comfortable. With only one lift, there was always a bit of a wait. Front of House staff were efficient but not very friendly or welcoming. The hotel is well-located- about 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, the river and the hop-on-hop off bus, and with a Metro station just across the street. There are also some handy local shops just around the corner, and a number of restaurants to choose from, just outside the hotel. The street and surrounding area was a little noisy- so request a room at the rear of the hotel.

If you've stayed in a Mercure before you kind of know what to expect. The rooms are a little small in this hotel but comfortable with 2 chairs, a large bed and decent en-suite bathroom. There is little in the way of extras in the hotel but if you're in Paris, you likely aren't planning on spending time in a hotel lobby. Easy walk to the tower and the 10 mins quoted on the website is overstated for people of moderate fitness. There are bistros all around the hotel and a metro station across the road. Breakfast area is small so I would imagine in season you would have to time it well but the food served is good quality.

A fabulous location and the front of house staff are lovely. Our booking came with breakfast included and that did not disappoint. Very nice selection in a great setting and the ladies working there were helpful, friendly and polite. The room was clean but small. Superb view waking up to the tower against a blue Parisian sky. Comfortable bed and no real noise from the street or the metro line outside. The cups in the room are paper and the glasses are plastic which gave it a certain motel feel. We had to spend a day in the room doing some work for the conference we were attending and twice the cleaners came in despite a do not disturb sign hanging on the door. Thank goodness it was not there because we were trying to sleep.

The location was great. across the road from the train station which is simple to get around on. The room I had was right next to the lift which was noisy . the bed was ok . bathroom was good - modern and clean. Staff weren't overly helpful. Loved the location one stop on the train for the eiffel tower.

The one elevator did not work for three days and my room was on the fifth floor depsite having two heavy luggages to take up. The checkout process was slow. Phone calls were given priority. Everything out of order and not fair.

Excellent location with the overhead train in front _to find your way back! (We found there are a lot of Grenelle streets!!) Checked in on Bastille day and walked to the river where we found a large crowd gathered to take in the fireworks. Lots of police presence throughout Paris. Great Italian restaurant around the corner with very friendly staff. Grab a pizza and a bottle (or two) of wine. (better price than a Pint each) no issues with this hotel - very comfortable bed and pillows!

Recently stayed @ Mercure Hotel situated near Eiffel Tower....when you walk out of the main enterance, there it is on all it's splendour. Easy walking to the tower and bus stops to pick up tour buses which run every 15 mins. Trocadero just across the river and the Statue of Liberty is a wonderful 20 minute stroll down from hotel. Lots of lovely cafe's nearby for those people watching moments.... The staff were helpful, rooms clean and just a good location. Well worth a visit.

We stayed here for 3 nights so that we could see the sights of Paris! What a great hotel! It's very clean, quiet, and welcoming. It's definitely a 4 star, the staff were nice, the bed was changed everyday and the towels changed. It was a great base for us as the Dupleix Metro is across the road and it's a 10minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. There are many bars and restaurants around it to keep you happy too! I would definitely recommend this hotel as it is a high standard and is definitely what you would expect from a 4 star hotel in Paris!

Front office staff were fantastic. Very helpful with tips to shop , sightseeing and visits to other places of interest. Rooms were very good with good choice of decor. The Duplex station right opposite the hotel. Staff (Clement , Benoit ) and other front office staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good with a good choice. The hotel was clean and was much better than the Accor hotel I stayed at recently in Sydney Australia. The nearby restaurants were good for choice and the exclusive boutiques in the back of the hotel were of high class.
