This hotel was so nice compared to the budget hotel we stayed in the night before, and it wasn't much more expensive. It had a luxury boutique hotel feel in the lobby and in our actual room as well. We arrived one to two hours early and our room was already available. We booked a room with a double bed and thought the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable enough. We enjoyed having a kitchenette but the mini fridge was quite small and did not have a freezer compartment. The toilet and shower were separated, which is always nice for a couple sharing a room. The hot water in the shower never got hot enough for me, but my husband said it was fine for him. The view of the street was nice but we wished we had a higher floor, with the possibility of a Eiffel Tower view. There is not a rooftop area with a view (which we thought we had read about online), but rather the top apartment rooms which have a city view. Considering the rate we paid for our room, we thought our overall experience at L'Edmond was great and we would return. Also, the location is conviently located next to the Villiers metro stop, restaurants and bars, a grocery store, pharmacy, and Laundromat. If this is helpful to anyone, we took an Uber to Charles de Gaulle in the morning for about 40 euro.
Perfect for families with perfect location. Close to tourist attractions and yet among locals.
Nice quiet hotel in a neat little area in Paris, just 20 minute walk to the Champs. A beautiful park is nearby and the metro is close too. The staff were very accomodating and the room was great. No complaints at all.
I thought the room was quite a good size. I had been told that the rooms in Europe are small...don't agree. Had plenty of room. Bed not really queen...just two twins put together (still had a hard seam in center). Wish I had someplace other than hotel for breakfast. What we did have was a real feel for a French neighborhood. Everything we needed close by and the people we met were very helpful and friendly.
We had a great time in Paris The hotel was located around the corner from a Metro stop - takes a bit of getting used to but we used the Metro to get around the City mostly Many wonderful local Patiseries and Cafe just around the corner as well - we mostly ate fresh Pastries and Cafe from Espesso maker for breakfasts and found reasonably priced Cafe's in neighborhood to eat dinners The rooms were clean and comfortable - spacious for inner city - would go back a bit Pricey but worth it for location, comfort, cleanliness - My wife and two teenage children Bathrooms was unbelievable with large shower and seperate deep tub
