Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights at L' Edmond staying in a Duplex suite. We've been to Paris many times and fancied a little change area wise and just loved the neighbourhood. Some great shops and eats will definitely please food lovers and some of the best patisseries around will play havoc with your waistline, but it's Paris after all. Villiers métro line is two minutes away and will get you into tourist central quickly and efficiently as always. Couple of bus routes nearby also if you want to stay above ground and a taxi rank just across the road means all the travel bases are covered. Don't forget to visit Parc Monceau which is a little gem in Paris and only a few minutes walk away. The hotel itself is quiet, comfortable and well kitted out. The duplex suite is spacious, with a downstairs sitting area, flatscreen, mini kitchen and walk in shower and WC. Upstairs has flatscreen, large comfy bed, bathroom with bath, sink and WC also. Loads of storage, safe and my wife said a good hairdryer also. Some minor negatives on the room are the walk in shower does leak onto the tiled floor and we had to put a towel down to stop it becoming a wetroom. The mini bar/fridge wasn't cold and didn't appear to have a setting and with the duplex you don't have a window onto the street, natural light and access is via a central terrace in the courtyard, although the door and surround is fully glazed to try and maximise the light. Minor stuff really and overall we did like the room and layout. Special mention goes to the staff who were all really nice and go a long way in ensuring you have a nice stay. Thank you all. All in all, great hotel, great location and we have no problem recommending a stay at L' Edmond.

We got the two storey room. It was still not a lot of space to move about but we are a couple with a 5 year old so this met our requirements. The microwave, small fridge, cooktop and utensils were useful. The hotel is located close to a metro station (De Villiers) about 200m away. There is plenty of shops around. Nearby is a market where you can buy grocery, baked food, vegetables and fruits. The staff were excellent - all of them! The had answers to all your questions and concerns. Very friendly too. I have to specifically mention Jules - on our last day, on check out it was raining and we had our luggages and with the kid have to get to the metro station. It was certainly a problem going with the luggage in the rain but the place is too close to order a taxi. Jules took the trouble of coming with us and some umbrellas from the hotel to the metro station. This was very helpful and we really appreciate that!
Thanks to all at L'edmond for a great stay in Paris.its our 4th time to stay here because of the comfort and staff and location of L'edmond.its situated in a lovely area with cafes, restaurants &markets near.metro near.park monceau is short walk away.felt very safe in this area.would highly recommend to stay at L'edmond and we hope to return in the near future.
This was my fourth stay at this great hotel in a charming area of Paris, and it was another great stay! Friendly, efficient reception staff. Housekeeping does a wonderful job, as room was very clean and refreshed each day. Having a petite kitchen (microwave, stovetop burners) and all kitchenware make the proximity to the fabulous rue de Levis market street something to take advantage of while staying here. I look forward to staying here again!
My wife and I just had our first stay in Paris and chose L'edmond Hotel for our stay. The hotel was nice, in a good area, and very close to the metro. The best part of our stay was the service. Our concierge Jules* was such a blessing. He was very eager to help with directions, advice on resturants, and where to exchange money. He was even willing to take us up to an empty apartment to show us a beautiful view of the city. Good hotel with great service!
A delightful hotel with really good staff. Comfortable bed, which is most important. The shower worked well but the screen needs repairing as it leaks badly. A small point. The appliances in the kitchen worked well and missing glasses and knife were soon provided. Good local shops mean one does not always need to eat out.
The location is excellent, as well as the comfort level of the room. Very clean and comfortable. The great thing that hotel has an nespresso machine, however, the negative thing was that they do not provide original nespresso capsules. This cancels the nespresso machine advantage. At the same time if you know that there is a machine, - you can take your favorite capsules from home:-) Machine must be advertised when booking a room.
