The hotel in general was clean and staff were nice. That being said I don’t believe it should rate 9.2 out of ten in Orbitz. Specifically, I was not trilled about area around the metro at the night. I had to go back to hotel early before sunset because I didn’t feel safe at night.

Very cute and clean, but very small rooms. This hotel is about a 25-30 minute metro ride from the city center (Notre Dam, Eiffel Tower, etc...). Take the late metro line 4 instead of the 8 to get back and you're in a pretty shady neighborhood. Breakfast was included and was tasty. Hotel staff was very nice and spoke fluent English. The hotel is cute, but the location just wasn't great. For this reason, we wouldn't stay again.

Location is very convenient, close to the metro and lots of good restaurants around . Area is not the best. Staff are friendly, although they clean the rooms even though you told them not to do it. Some lights in the hallway are not turning on, would have been better if they keep the hallway lights on at all times instead of having sensor lights. Only problems we had were thermostat in the room did not work. Too warm at night. We had to open the windows, all in all we enjoyed our stay here.

Nice rooftop, beautifully designed and decorated hotel. Really well-appointed, would be happy to stay with Le Grand Quartier again.

Room was pretty spacious. Clean. Staff very responsive.

It is a nice hotel but room was too small even though I paid extra for a larger room. Restaurant was closed. I don't understand how one can advertise for amenities and charge accordingly for a room yet not make those amenities available. I feel defrauded. I don't think this hotel is a good value. I think it is worth half of the asking price. I will not stay here neither do I recommend it.

The location is very central to the sights of Paris. It is in a safe area with no concerns walking in the area surrounding it at any time. It is a very well kept and modern location with an outstanding staff who take great care of you as a guest.

was a wonderful stay- had plenty of things in close proximity and the staff was wonderful. spoke fluent English and French.

I loved this place. Peaceful and quiet. My only nitpick was with the restaurant service; it was a little slow sometimes. But the food was delicious and the room was very cool. Comfortable bed, nice shower. I had the small room, so it was a little crowded in the bathroom, even with just me. But I would absolutely stay there again. I booked it because it is an easy walk from the Eurostar train station. I was able to walk to the Louvre as well, but that's a little more difficult walk. But super nice place. The online photos don't really do it justice.

Was a great place to stay in Paris. Quiet night for much needed sleep. Very nice bathroom and room. Very helpful staff. Convenient to subway. I would stay here again.

Hotel staff very very friendly, someone's always ay check in and speak English. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Should have read previous reviews. Yes outside rooms are noisy! I mean banging, sirens, you name it. Heater took a day or two to work, warm water also takes a while to come out. If you exit hotel to the left the area is sketchy to the right not so sketchy. Less than 10 minutes from farthest metro station.

Bonito hotel en un barrio alternativo con vistas bonitas.

Dear Shannon,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry that the neighborhood was not to your liking, I can assure you that it is yet a very safe and authentic area of Paris, where you can find amazing places to eat and chill at a reasonable price, partly because it is located a bit further from the touristic areas. Paris is quite a wide city, and the famous places to visit are spread all over the map. Notre Dame and the latin quarter are located only 10minutes away by metro. Thanks again for your feedback, we hope to welcome you again and to make you discover and appreciate our neighborhood.Best,
