Good service, fine room and hard good bed, quiet surroundings and clean generally. It is hard to ask for much mora at this price in Paris. The umbrella was a nice touch also. Breakfast could do better but still nice place
Stayed there for one night. Was very noisy, lots of young people around the place did not feel very secure. Was very hot and no Air conditioning in the rooms. Very close to train station whis is very convenient. Restaurants and cafe close by.
We are a large group with kids. We chose this place coz we wanted to keep within budget. Location : very close to Republic Metro station. Lot of cafes around and good patteserie is also around. There is an ATM right opp the hotel Rooms: the room is very small. If it's a couple with kids it's not preferable in case u can afford a better budget. There is little room to have an extra bed, the bathroom is very small. U can't spread your hands too much while bathing or doing anything else. But it's clean and basic. Has a small TV . They do have a bfast place on 1st floor but dint see it function. TIP: they provide soap and shampoo but the soap is really very cheap quality. Carry your own toiletries It's 5 floor bldg but u can hear most things of each floor right up-to the top. So speak.politely to keep privacy. Price : it cost us around 5-6k per night . So not bad. Service: there is only a couple if staff at reception. They are nice ,speak English and are efficient and helpful. The rooms are cleaned on time without any reminders. Overall a good budget hotel.
Good position, you can walk to the major tourist destinations, we did and were in our 60's! Decent value for the location and rooms although small are totally fit for purpose. Certainly not a luxury hotel and air con from adjacent buildings was rather intrusive with the windows open.
1) The single room is really small - didn't mind so much since it's really just for sleeping and I didn't spend much time in the room; 2) The room has a super tiny shower stall that only allows you to move vertically because it can only fit a medium size built person 3) There are no amenities in terms of bathroom toiletries; BRING YOUR OWN! 4) There is no safety deposit box, so be wise about securing your belongings. 5) In front of the hotel is a nice boulangerie where breakfast can be had 6) A stone's throw away from the Place de la Republique and the train station, a few nice bars, and restaurants too
We read some reviews concerning this etablishment and a big surprise when we come there. the person at the reception give us a big quqdruple room instead the triple room we have booked. The personal of the hotel is soo kind and helpfull. In the center of Paris the hotel have a very nice accomodation. In last the hotel is clean very close from metro station and WE WILL COMEBACK AGAIN . Thank you again for all the team
+ place is ridiculously close to the Metro entry at Place de la République. Perfect + Room prices are fair considering this location - Single rooms are small, very *small* bed and toilet. - There's only one tiny elevator, which is basically fine - however while I stayed there it got out of order... for a walk to the 5th floor, count 4 doulble ones and a regular, making 9 floors to climb. - Furnitures are really old fashioned, and Cleanliness is questionable.
Centrally located trains and bus services are good. Rooms are small with no fans too many mosquitoes. Expensive for the rate of the room. Staff is good. Airport and station are easily accessible from this location. Good food restaurants located in the area.
We stayed in the hotel last week for the Eurocup for just the 1 night. The location in Republique Metro Stop is really convenient. The hotel in general was very dated and overpriced. The room wasn't very clean and the shower was so tiny you could barely fit an adult in there. The room views from the window was a wall in front of us. I would not recommend it and not planning to stay here again.
Our travel agent booked us into this Hotel. Upon arrival we were sent up the tiniest elevator (could only fit my husband and I and our luggage) to our room on the 5th floor. Problem was the elevator only goes to the 4th floor and we had to 'lug' our bags up the spiral staircase. When we got to our allocated room someone else was already in there!! We were given a room that was very small with the tiniest bathroom. No air con, you only get towels that are old, small and like rags, broken tiles off the wall, dirty bathroom etc - just as all the other reviews have mentioned. Our booking came with free breakfast...that was a complete joke!! Breakfast is a croissant and half a bagguette that is brought to you, 2 choices of cereal, orange juice and coffee/tea. We struck one very friendly staff member on our last day. We had 4 nights at this place and hope to not repeat this experience (this place deserves a minus rating!!). We have advised our Travel Agent accordingly.
