The hotel itself has a fine location - easy to walk around and felt safe. small but clean rooms. If you don’t plan on spending much time in the hotel, you don’t need much more than this anyway. Biggest disappointment was that the WiFi doesn’t work on higher floors. They should say WiFi only in lobby. Woman at the desk was not that kind or helpful when I brought up that it was not working. She made it seem like something was wrong with my device rather than admitting that on higher floors the WiFi does not connect. Good stay if you’re just in/out the hotel, but having WiFi when traveling and planning activities is pretty essential.
I really liked this low key hotel with super friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean which is always important. However, they are not the most spacious rooms (bathrooms are quite spacious and modern though), but there is still plenty of space for a suitcase. The price for this hotel is a very good deal and you get a good value for money. Afternoon tea is also super. The location is perfect - right opposite a mini-market where fresh fruits are sold daily, a sushi restaurant, two minute walk to the metro station and a five minute walk to Sacré-Coeur (there are also very nice low-key French restaurants on the road next to Sacré-Coeur). All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Nice hotel with small rooms and excellent shower, but romantic feel with friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Close to the metro station which leads you quickly to le Sacre-Coeur in Montmartre. Breakfast is served at an extra price, but there are many bakeries around to enjoy fresh croissants every morning. My wife and I enjoyed our short stay.
Hotel has a seriously good location for Sacre Coeur and Montmartre. It is 2 mins from Le Refuge cafe - yes the place that gets Instagrammed - and the little pink house. Breakfast was a crossaint and espresso for me. Reception were v helpful. Am hoping to book again next week and bring my Mum. Supermarkets and cafes close by.
The hotel service was amazing. They were lovely and accommodating and each receptionist was fully at your welcome! The hotel is in prime location and the area is amazing. Room wise Yeah - It's a bit tired and the carpet could do with a scrub - but you know what (and I've stayed in gorgeous 1st class and in awful 4th class) - this hotel is fine. Well worth the cheap rate - ( the shower was the best shower I've ever had actually). All amenities are working - lift to the room etc. Quiet street in really populate and cool busy area - small rooms and shower rooms but pleasant and simple. Breakfast - you can get for cheaper in a cafe not 1 minute away! Do not pay 20 euros for breakfast- ridiculous! But absolutely do walk upwards to the sacri coeurs (13mins) and have dinner up there and a night cap - watch Paris by nightlight then saunter down to a good bed and an easy hotel! It ain't cheap but it ain't crap. It's totally fine! Have confidence x
The rooms are very little; too much: for example, in my room it was impossible to open the door of the bathroom beacuse the bed was too near. The bathroom was so little that was impossible to sit on the toilet and the sink so small that was impossible to wash myself without wetting all around. But these weren't the worst problems. The most important problem is the cleaning: the room is dirty and the carpet full of dust. Really dirty and not cleaned probably for months. Everything is unconfortable: during the breakfast, when I was eating, a lady asked me to sign on a paper; the breakfast (14 €!) was dreary (for example the glasses were placed directy on a shelf without a cleaned tablecloth under them) and the tables were prepared only with a tissue. Nobody askes you if you want a coffee; the breakfast room is so tiny that you must pay attention to move. At last but not least, people at the reception is quite unkind. No good comments at all.
This hotel was clean, in a good location only a 5 minute walk from Jules joffrin metro station. There are also lots of shops around, coffee shops, a couple bars, and pastry/bakeries. It's a comfortable but small room. The staff is ok. I would recommend for budget seekers.
Booked as a lastminute.com Eurostar trip from London. The room was small but was really clean and tidy, and was well equipped. Bathroom was good, save for the inexplicable lack of a shower door. Staff were friendly and helpful, and were really good at helping point me in the right direction etc. For three nights, it did the job. Small and comfortable - it worked because I was spending so little time in the hotel, leaving early morning, coming back to shower at teatime before heading back out, then coming back near midnight to sleep. Cheap and cheerful, certainly not high luxury, but you get what you pay for. No major complaints. Location-wise, very close to the metro station, supermarket just down the road, and a 15 minute walk up the hill to Sacre Couer. Gare du Nord is 10 minutes by metro, and central Paris / Ile-de-Citie some 15/20 by metro.
We stayed in this hotel last weekend for the Coldplay concert in Paris and it wasn't great. We requested an early check in which we got an approval email from booking.com for and when we got there we were told this was impossible (even though we showed the confirmation) and that they were booked out so this wasn't going to happen. When then went walking around Paris until check in time and when we got back after 2 our room still wasn't ready! The lady in reception was really friendly and helpful (not like the gentleman in the morning) but we had to wait about 30 mins to get to our room. The room was tiny, no space for luggage and unbearably warm. Paris was about 28-30 degrees on the day, there was a fan but it didn't do much. We couldn't really open the window as the room across could see into our room. The wallpaper in our room was peeling and the toilet seat kept falling off. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Only good thing was that it was clean enough and close to the Stade De France where the concert was. Needless to say I wouldn't stay there again.
The hotel was decent, let down by a weak fridge that struggled in the hot weather and dirty stained carpet. Space was tight too. Very hot but the 2 fans help, air con is necessary in summer. Space is tight in the room
