Hotel Les Jardins de Montmartre

Spent a long weekend here and overall we were pleased. Friendly staff, good location, attractively decorated and an excellent shower. The downside was a front facing room which was a little noisy with the window open and hot with it shut. There was also a strong smell of cigarettes when we first entered the room. Add to this a hard mattress and I can only give 4 stars. Would I stay again? Probably.

Which is super cool in this Montmartre neighborhood actually! Elegant rooms, small but yet effective… clean and smart, a strong wifi connection, great international breakfast, 24/7 room service at an affordable price… just missing an outdoor space to relax which could ne possible in the backyard! Enjoy it for a business or ramntic stay at the heart of real Montmartre next to Jules Joffrin, walking distance to the Flea market and the Place des Abesses !

Having stayed at this hotel in Sep 2016, I expected a comfortabe return. However the twin room allocated this time was very different and extremely small. The shower room door could not fully open as it hit the bed. There was nowhere to put cases and the tea making faciity verges on being dangerous as it perched on a very small shelf by electrical sockets. The advertised 'international tv channels', not availabe. The wifi terrible, cutting out every 10 mins. The heating could not be controlled in the room and was hot and stuffy. The window/door could not be left partially open, and looked onto a small area used as an outside storage for dead plants and plastic furniture. On a positive note, the breakfast is good, however there is no lift to that side of the hotel, where the breakfast room is. The beds were clean as was the shower room. Reasonable location close to various eateries and fresh food shops. Bus stop right outside hotel door. No 31 service takes you to Gard du Nord station. Short walk to Metro station. Storage for luggage on checkout day, really useful. My tip, make sure when booking you are allocated the room as shown on the website, which is very different to room 15, although the price is the same! I would try elsewhere after this experience.

Nice small hotel in a great location, good service, very friendly. The breakfast was good, rooms were very clean and had everything needed. We had a quiet room and even after changing the room due to a broken heater we got a quiet room again.

The hotel itself has a fine location - easy to walk around and felt safe. small but clean rooms. If you don’t plan on spending much time in the hotel, you don’t need much more than this anyway. Biggest disappointment was that the WiFi doesn’t work on higher floors. They should say WiFi only in lobby. Woman at the desk was not that kind or helpful when I brought up that it was not working. She made it seem like something was wrong with my device rather than admitting that on higher floors the WiFi does not connect. Good stay if you’re just in/out the hotel, but having WiFi when traveling and planning activities is pretty essential.

I really liked this low key hotel with super friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean which is always important. However, they are not the most spacious rooms (bathrooms are quite spacious and modern though), but there is still plenty of space for a suitcase. The price for this hotel is a very good deal and you get a good value for money. Afternoon tea is also super. The location is perfect - right opposite a mini-market where fresh fruits are sold daily, a sushi restaurant, two minute walk to the metro station and a five minute walk to Sacré-Coeur (there are also very nice low-key French restaurants on the road next to Sacré-Coeur). All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Nice hotel with small rooms and excellent shower, but romantic feel with friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Close to the metro station which leads you quickly to le Sacre-Coeur in Montmartre. Breakfast is served at an extra price, but there are many bakeries around to enjoy fresh croissants every morning. My wife and I enjoyed our short stay.

Hotel has a seriously good location for Sacre Coeur and Montmartre. It is 2 mins from Le Refuge cafe - yes the place that gets Instagrammed - and the little pink house. Breakfast was a crossaint and espresso for me. Reception were v helpful. Am hoping to book again next week and bring my Mum. Supermarkets and cafes close by.

The hotel service was amazing. They were lovely and accommodating and each receptionist was fully at your welcome! The hotel is in prime location and the area is amazing. Room wise Yeah - It's a bit tired and the carpet could do with a scrub - but you know what (and I've stayed in gorgeous 1st class and in awful 4th class) - this hotel is fine. Well worth the cheap rate - ( the shower was the best shower I've ever had actually). All amenities are working - lift to the room etc. Quiet street in really populate and cool busy area - small rooms and shower rooms but pleasant and simple. Breakfast - you can get for cheaper in a cafe not 1 minute away! Do not pay 20 euros for breakfast- ridiculous! But absolutely do walk upwards to the sacri coeurs (13mins) and have dinner up there and a night cap - watch Paris by nightlight then saunter down to a good bed and an easy hotel! It ain't cheap but it ain't crap. It's totally fine! Have confidence x

The rooms are very little; too much: for example, in my room it was impossible to open the door of the bathroom beacuse the bed was too near. The bathroom was so little that was impossible to sit on the toilet and the sink so small that was impossible to wash myself without wetting all around. But these weren't the worst problems. The most important problem is the cleaning: the room is dirty and the carpet full of dust. Really dirty and not cleaned probably for months. Everything is unconfortable: during the breakfast, when I was eating, a lady asked me to sign on a paper; the breakfast (14 €!) was dreary (for example the glasses were placed directy on a shelf without a cleaned tablecloth under them) and the tables were prepared only with a tissue. Nobody askes you if you want a coffee; the breakfast room is so tiny that you must pay attention to move. At last but not least, people at the reception is quite unkind. No good comments at all.
