Booked as a lastminute.com Eurostar trip from London. The room was small but was really clean and tidy, and was well equipped. Bathroom was good, save for the inexplicable lack of a shower door. Staff were friendly and helpful, and were really good at helping point me in the right direction etc. For three nights, it did the job. Small and comfortable - it worked because I was spending so little time in the hotel, leaving early morning, coming back to shower at teatime before heading back out, then coming back near midnight to sleep. Cheap and cheerful, certainly not high luxury, but you get what you pay for. No major complaints. Location-wise, very close to the metro station, supermarket just down the road, and a 15 minute walk up the hill to Sacre Couer. Gare du Nord is 10 minutes by metro, and central Paris / Ile-de-Citie some 15/20 by metro.
We stayed in this hotel last weekend for the Coldplay concert in Paris and it wasn't great. We requested an early check in which we got an approval email from booking.com for and when we got there we were told this was impossible (even though we showed the confirmation) and that they were booked out so this wasn't going to happen. When then went walking around Paris until check in time and when we got back after 2 our room still wasn't ready! The lady in reception was really friendly and helpful (not like the gentleman in the morning) but we had to wait about 30 mins to get to our room. The room was tiny, no space for luggage and unbearably warm. Paris was about 28-30 degrees on the day, there was a fan but it didn't do much. We couldn't really open the window as the room across could see into our room. The wallpaper in our room was peeling and the toilet seat kept falling off. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Only good thing was that it was clean enough and close to the Stade De France where the concert was. Needless to say I wouldn't stay there again.
The hotel was decent, let down by a weak fridge that struggled in the hot weather and dirty stained carpet. Space was tight too. Very hot but the 2 fans help, air con is necessary in summer. Space is tight in the room
Not really even close to pictures / advertised. Rooms are so small and not really comfortable. They don't have any amenities except safe and fan. On the other side, location of the hotel is awesome, nearby metro station, a lot of restaurants outside of hotel, cafes etc
This is a great little cheap hotel in Montmartre. Our room was small but perfectly clean and well equipped and the reception staff were all friendly and very helpful. The location is absolutely brilliant: there's a Metro station just a few steps away and you can walk up to Sacre-Coeur in about 5-10 minutes, depending on how many rests you need between flights of steps. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, including a boulangerie over the road for breakfast croissants and lunchtime sandwiches. Not many downsides at all, only really that there's no air conditioning so we had to sleep with the window open one night, which was rather noisy as our room looked out onto the main road. Would I stay here again? Probably, yes. As I said, the rooms are quite small but for me, the low price made up for it, particularly given how easy it is to haemorrhage money in Paris!
Stayed at this hotel over Easter, rooms very different in decor, spotless and everything you need. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again. Good location 5 minutes walk from the metro station and just opposite station in a great Italian restaurant with great food and friendly waiters.
Hi. This was a trip with my granddaughter, to give her a first trip to Paris, Having preeviously stayed at this hotel I chose again, and was once again very pleased, The hotel is in a very good location, not too touristy, We were able to experience the same as Parisians.
Excellent staff and a very good location in beautiful Montmartre. A metro station is just 200 meters away. The hotel was perfect for a 2 night stay. Room and the hotel in general were very clean. The most welcoming staff I ever met in Paris!
We travelled to Paris for a very short break to re-visit some old sisters and see Montmartre close up. The hotel had given the improession of being in a garden type setting, light and bright. It was in fact squeezed between shops far from the artistic centre of Montmartre. It was clean and the staff friendly but its location and lack of honesty about its setting let it down for me.
Very nice and good hotel for reasonable price situated in a good location of Montmartre, about 700m from the basilique Sacre Coeur. Good connection to the Paris centre by metro or bus. Nice rooms, bathrooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff :)
