Its a cheap option, but the room and toilet are so tiny. It was a very hot weather. Inside was worse than outside. The carpet on the floor is dirty. Two stars only because the location. Staff was OK and you have to pay for the simple breakfast 7 euros.
Great place to stay to visit paris . Great service. Breakfast 7 euro per person. I rated 3 stars because faculty doesn't speak English or Spanish only and only french it could be a problem at the end for any taxi arrangements or If you didn't know breakfast was included on the rate.
The Room was clean and modern even if the structure is really old. The staff is Not friendly and no one of them can speak english fluentely. The price was good but whitout any advice from reception our trip has lost some points.
Simple hotel but worth for the price, staff are very polite and helpful, breakfast quite good, for the price worth spend few nights, location very good too. If u like walk it's very easy to go on most of attractions.
I stayed in this hotel for one night during a conference. The staff is friendly but the condition of the rooms was not up to standard. Sticky floor, almost none of the lamps worked, exposed electrical wiring (dangerous!), no or slow wifi everywhere in the building, black hair everywhere (bed sheets, towels, bathroom), rust and mold brown stains in the bathroom, broken shower head .... do yourself a pleasure and spend a bit more on a *** hotel.
Was a bit worried by some negative reviews, but this hotel was great value, brilliant location near the republique metro. Clean room, freshened daily and extremely helpful staff, can't thank them enough especially the young man on reception, will definitely book there when we go back
Great hotel in the center of paris and very very cheap. The area is a little noisey but if you are young and staying out late anyway it shouldn't really be a problem. Metro republique is a 2 minute walk and this has lines all over the main parts of paris. Clean room with a lovely view onto the parisian streets. Small but chic and clean with free wifi. The perfect base to explore Paris.
This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. We stayed in a triple room which was much smaller than how it is pictured, there was pretty much no room to do anything in the room with three people other than sleep and sit on the beds. The shower was great however unfortunately there was a leak which meant the floor was slightly wet. The bedding was a little thin which meant it got cold but apart from that is was fine. It is 1 2 minute walk to Republique metro which has great links, there is also a great breakfast place just opposite the hotel which I highly recommend. The staff are very friendly at the desk and will go out of their way to help. If you are going away on a budget and aren't bothered by the room then this is absolutely great. We literally only used it as a base as we were out all day and night.
We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and chosed that one because we wanted to keep this trip cheep. The staff was very friendly and it was easy to talk english with them. The room was okay. The bathroom was always clean, but we had some holes in the sheets, wich wasnt a drama for us. The bed and the balcony were also okay, in case the hotel has two stars. It is situated near a supermarket, a lovely cafe and a post office and if you take a walk for 2 minutes you will see the next metro station. This hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to visit Paris by not spending a lot of money in the hotel, because you just will be there when you want to go to bed. Maybe we will come back here when we visit this beautiful city the next time, thank you!
We are used to staying in budget accommodation and using a hotel as simply somewhere to sleep. I wouldn't say that we had unrealistic expectations for a budget triple room in Paris but we were so disappointed. This hotel was terrible. Surly, uncommunative staff and dangerous rickety stairs led us to our room - the lift was even more unsafe. The room was tiny, with a small double bed and camp-bed style single bed. The balcony doors did not close and the shower door was hanging off. The bathroom smelt and the neighbourhood was noisy and full of pickpockets. The only saving grace was a close Express Supermarket and metro stop Republique but I would not recommend this hotel at all. Not worth the money, avoid!
