This is easy walking to Louvre and Champs without being too close to tourists. Great local restaurants around the corner and fantastic shopping for shoes, perfume, and jewelry around. Opera house blocks away. Rooms were adequate - a little small and clean but a little older. That being said, you can't beat the area and the hotel was a great base.

This property is tucked away down a charming small street. Excellent location, friendly staff, and spacious rooms.

The rooms were small, which is certainly typical for hotels in the 2nd arr. Several of the staff were very helpful, but a couple were disinterested in doing anything beyond talking about a problem. There were no accessible outlets to charge phones or to use a medical machine required for sleeping. I got one person to agree to find an extension cord, but didn't follow through. I also asked about changing rooms to one that had an outlet near the bed. I was told that there were no vacancies. I spoke to a second who just shrugged, saying he did not know anything about it. My French is pretty proficient, so it was not a language issue. When I wrote to Orbitz, the company intervened for me. However, the hotel responded to Orbitz explaining that I needed an adaptor to use French outlets. Really? Thanks, hotel. I hadn't figured that out in my dozen or so trips to Europe. It wasn't horrific, but was unpleasant. Then the hotel offered to move me to another room. Magically, there were now vacancies, now that my comments were public. There are LOTS of other hotels in Paris...

The location is very convenience, walking distance to shopping center, Opera, supermarket. But the downside is very noisy in the night. There are several bar on the same street, people taking, yelling in the night, all the way till around 3AM every night when I was there. If you want a quite place to rest in the night, avoid this one.

Excellent alternative for a top location in Paris! Very comfortable room, with a top quality/price ratio. Breakfast was very good as well. Will definitely return!

Dear Guest, We thank you for your comment. Weare very concerned by your experience. We checked and aparently the reception didn't give you solution as soon as they knew you had a problem. In most our rooms, the plugs are next to the desk and you aparently needed a particular configuration. At this time we didn't have spare cable and room. It is very infortunate. To avoid this kind of situation we usualy advise to right or call us in advance. We would have liked to be more efficient to solve your problem and apologize for it. We wish you had a nice and safe travel back home. Best regards,
