Hôtel Auteuil Tour Eiffel4.0 out of 5.0

Decided to go to Paris with friends as a last minute thing and decided to book this due to it looking ok for 2 nights stay and it being close to the main attractions. We arrived early hrs of weds morning and the gentleman dealing with us at reception was incredibly rude and aggressive. We felt threatened by him and was not approachable. We had issues with our aircon so he said he'll bring us up some more fans and due to our error we didn't switch it on properly or knew how to work it to which he lost his temper. We had other issues that night too but due to his aggressiveness and short fuse we decided to not bring these up with him as we were worried for our safety. The room itself had a stale smell and felt quite dated. Other than that it was fairly clean. Rest of the hotel is quite drab too. Thankfully we only slept in it and were out majority of the time. If anyones looking to book it just spend an extra few £ and book a better place. I will be going back in the future but will definitely be staying in a better place instead of this Fawlty Towers type hotel.
I stopped here last week and found the hotel fine, staff were very helpful, lot of breakfast variety. room was clean, was cleaned daily, outside of the hotel is a local supermarket and a very nice Italian. would recommend this place its nothing amazing but 100 percent would return.
My wife and I stayed here for two nights on 17th/18th of August. Really clean and professional hotel. The staff were more than helpful to us as we didn't speak French they mapped out out day to Disneyland on the tube and how to get back the shortest and cheapest routes. Booked cabs for us that only took 5 minutes to arrive each time. Very close to the Eiffel Tower also, only a 10/15 minute stroll. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel rooms are in rough shape. Old carpets, broken furniture, very tired looking overall, paint chipped or cracking. Our toilet was broken the first day and wasn't fixed till the next morning and we had phantom charges on our mini bar. Disappointed with the service level, would only recommend for value travelers or if you want to be walking distance to Eiffel Tower.
No frills; a cheap and clean hotel 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower on foot, perfect if you just want somewhere to rest and leave your bags. Not many sockets if you've got lots of things to charge but it's all good.
More in line of Paris hospitality reputation of the 80s. Reception is really useless and cold. I appreciated the rustly stains on the bathroom floor. there was no heating in my bathroom. The room was outdated and the closet was too small. I had to live out of my suitcase for a week. The breakfast buffet was acceptable however. I will not return as newer and better service is available for the same price in Paris.
This hotel was not worth my money at all, although the location was good and only a 15-20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, the lack of air con was ridiculous as well as the pictures being a false representation to the mess I walked into. However, by far the worst aspect of my stay was the disgusting pair of DIRTY underwear in the bathroom, which I have a picture of. Honestly if you're planning on not spending much time in the actual room it's fine, but that is because of its location, would not stay again.
- Dirty carpets - Dirty walls - Loud air con - Not in central Paris - Dated decor - I paid £163 and not even a free bottle water in the room; I got charged 3 EUR for it. Also.... After a 2h power cut they had the cheek to say they couldn't even offer me a bottle of water from the mini bar for free. I said "are you offering any compensation for the power cut? I would expect at least you could waive the charge for my water". He said he can't do that and the mini bar is not free. It's not the staffs fault. Instead the manager should tell them they can offer small gestures of good will for things like this. I give this one star on principle, but some of the staff were really nice people, it's quiet, the bathroom was nice and the bed was very comfortable.
Walk outside the hotel and less then 30 seconds you get a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. Really enjoyed staying at this hotel staff were lovely and catered to every need and question. Central location is perfect for no matter where you want to go. Small grocery shop at the end of the road also in case you need anything.
Stayed three nights, booking in easy, staff very friendly. Were advised time of breakfast, floor we were on and about WiFi. Room was comfortably basic, bed was great, pillows soft. Good air con, shower, etc. Carpet little grubby. Breakfast plentiful and staff again helpful and friendly. The staff were very helpful, we went for the tennis and they kindly printed off schedule for the day. Great location, very quiet and within walking distance of metro - one minute away (Mirabeau) and Eiffel Tower 20 minutes away. Roland Garros 30 minutes. We walked to Louvre, Notre Dame and Latin Quarter. Not a lot of restaurants around hotel but lots of cafes and bistros. Latin Quarter very vibrant, lots of activity, bars and restaurants - bit like Covent Garden, London. Hotel very near Seine we walked along there to EF, lovely walking back at night, lots of people drinking, eating, socialising on the riverbank and having picnics. Would recommend it, we only used room to sleep in.
