All round excellent hotel, couldn’t fault anything at all. Everywhere clean and tidy, nice friendly staff, complimentary drinks, lovely pool and spa... early check in was a bonus too -a big THANK YOU to all Sentido Thallassa staff for making us feel welcome and comfortable! We would love to return here one day!

What can I say? Well this was our 2nd visit and I thought it could not get any better however it did. Food was better than last year and entertainment was better with a greek night which had us all up dancing. There were some other great singers and guitar players which was an improvement on last years violin and piano entertainment. Made some new friends and met again with others from last year. We just love this place so much we have 2 more trips booked for this year and 3 for next year. The staff make this hotel. Yes the rooms could maybe do with a little updating however they are spotlessly clean, everything works as it should and how much time do you really spend in the room? A great place to get away from it all and I cant wait to return.

This is a true peace haven especially for couples. We seldom go anywhere more than once but have booked our third trip! All rooms have lovely views and balconies and either the morning or afternoon sun. Food is excellent. The wine on standard all inclusive leaves a little to be desired but we stick to the sparkling wine which is very acceptable (and refreshing). There is a lift down to the garden/beach bar. The sea swimming is great, the bay being clear, calm and shallow. Don't miss out on a romantic sunset beach walk before dinner.

Situated on the edge of the peninsula at Coral Bay, you'll find this little gem of a hotel, rooms are very clean and comfortable, staff are attentive to your every need and genuinely care about their guests, they have a swimming pool outside and it's clean, well maintained and the pool staff look after your every whim, there are ample sunbeds in the pool area and also outside the beach bar grill, there is a small indoor pool with a small but well equipped gym with cardio and weight machines. The buffet restaurant is varied and the food is of extremely high quality and is fresh, local and authentic, as well as having your usual dishes for the palate of the western guests, if going all inclusive then you can drink local drinks and non branded alcoholic drinks as much as you want, you can eat in the buffet restaurant and you are allowed one ala carte meal in the Psari restaurant situated overlooking the bay and is mainly outside, however they do have a limited amount of tables inside if inclement weather arrives. The food in the Psari is of high end eateries in your major cities, fresh, local and presented to a extremely high standard, wine is fairly reasonable and can be purchased, unless you want to drink the wine by the glass which is pleasant and suffices and is covered by your all inclusive package, however the all inclusive plus is €14 per person per day and is well worth the extra cost, this entitles you to branded drinks, the mini bar in the room, the beach bar grill where the burgers, kebabs and fresh grilled seafood are to die for 😏the buffet restaurant, the Psari restaurant and also the ala carte menu in the main restaurant, as well as 25% discount on the spa treatments. This hotel is definitely worth a visit, we love it and this is our fifth time, it's a place to unwind, relax and recharge and the staff will look after you like your family. This hotel is probably one of the best hotels we have visited in Europe.

Visited this hotel on the 15th May for two weeks and we were totally knocked back with the staff at This hotel , every one from the cleaners to the management were the best staff from four Sentido hotels that we have visited. The pool attendant could not do enough for people, the bar staff were great with every one else included. Our room 624 was on the sunset side of the hotel with great views of a small harbour and the beach, the room was pleasantly comfortable with large bed , great shower with bath and kept spotless every day by the cleaners who done a great job. Meal times in the buffet was very pleasant with a different country’s theme every night , water and wine or your choice of drinks with your meal. We didn’t try the a la Carte as we were so pleased with the buffet although you can once a week with your stay. Never seen so much seating from one hotel anywhere so comfortable with settee and armchair to chill in the evening with views over Coral Bay ( heaven). Bus stop just outside hotel for trips to Paphos Harbour cost 1.50 Euro Bus number 615 market everyday in Paphos. We had a trip through Thomas Cook to the Troodos mountains which I can highly recommend from a change of scenery , this trip takes the whole day 8am till 6.30 pm. Prior to our holiday I read on hear about complaints over water, well I can tell you these are untrue, water is supplied on your table ( large bottles) with every meal which you can take with you when finished if you wish to do so, out side of meals you can obtain bottled water from the bar at no cost. Just to finish if you try this Thalassa Adult hotel for yourselves you definitely won’t be disappointed, we loved every minute and can’t wait to return . Regards to all the amazing staff. My wife and I went for a special evening meal, we were not disappointed. On arrival we had cocktails on the terrace before moving to the main restaurant for dinner overlooking the picturesque Coral Bay. The menu was a delight with plenty of fish and meat options. We were recommended a bottle of local wine to go with our meal which was perfect. I had mackerel and my wife the salmon and beetroot starter. Both were delicious and impeccable looking on the plate. Mains were Baked cod and an imaginative deconstructed beef fillet stifado, again just perfect. We almost passed on dessert but the attentive staff said they did the best desserts around. If was hard to disagree as the Chocolate pear was a piece of art and tasted even better. An aperitif finished off the night perfectly listening to a local singer playing guitar. Thank you all at Thalassa for making the evening so enjoyable Keith and Karen

Just returned home after our second holiday to this superb hotel. Ignore the moaners, from entering on arrival to leaving eleven nights later you are greeted by great staff, maybe unfair to single out individual members of staff as they all welcome you with genuine smiles and banter. The food is great with something for all tastes, the pool area is clean and calm. Adults only.......the future !

First of all the food is NOT cold and NOT slops! Variety every day, all good was fresh and delicious, breakfast was of course the same daily but with so much choice you could choose something different daily. Always fresh bread, the salads always crispy and fresh- honestly It was delicious. My ONLY complaint regarding food was there were allergy/ingredients cards with no info on them and as my husband doesn’t eat fish it was difficult occasionally to know if a dish was suitable. The water served at the bar was from bottles as far as I could tell but it would have been nice to be able to get water in a bottle included for around the pool rather than keep going up asking for a glass - but we bought our own bottles from local shop as we drink so much water. The alcohol was very generous so if you don’t drink much watch the cocktails! Nice change from watered down though! Tea and coffee readily available all day. Bit annoying that the fridge was jammed with expensive drinks and we couldn’t put our own in there for fear of a charge. Housekeeping very good, room always clean and swept. You can borrow pool towels which was helpful. We had a couple of massages which were expensive but worth it. Always found sunbeds available but it wasn’t very busy when we went. Nice trip down stairs to the beach which was very seaweedy on ocasion but lovely and warm. There’s nothing much around the hotel so evening walks were very dull but I guess this is why it’s SO peaceful and relaxing and that’s why you should go here- literally I’ve never felt so chilled. Air con wasn’t very effective and a bit loud but we weren’t in the room much. The lifts were fine but I didn’t like traipsing through the lobby after swimming it would’ve been nice to have a less formal lift if that makes sense. Would we go back? YES!!!!! Staff were so helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to all, and the a la Carte restaurant food was Michelin standard, bravo chef!

Me and my wife have just enjoyed a great week at the Sentido Thalassa ,The staff were superb could not do enough, the facilities were great and i thought in good condition, the main bar and restaurant areas were all well looked after and decorated to a nice standard also kept clean and tidy, I upgraded to plus on arrival as I had read some reviews before going that in my opinion were very misleading in a negative way, we ate in the al a carte restaurant several times whilst there and the food was top quality and presented to a high standard, I had read some very poor reviews of the main restaurant which I found confusing as we found it to be very nice with a great variety to choose from at every meal time loads of salad ,fish meats and some really unhealthy sweets (thats why it needs a gym), breakfast had all the healthy options with lots of fresh fruit muesli etc or if you wished all the cooked options full English style, I say the same all over the Med about the coffee though when its from one of those instant type machines its naff but i can live with that (there was hot milk available from a beautiful quality silver jug which made me smile every morning),there was loads of room around the pool with sunbeds and brollies placed in nice positions some under the shade of trees which gave some cooler spots, the waiter would go around the pool area once or twice an hour taking drinks orders so you didn't have to get up which was nice, there is a second sunbathing area nearer the sea at a lower level called the beach bar with steps in place to get up and walk into the ocean for a swim theres also a waiter service here too but if you wanted to eat here you had to book as its gets busy, on an evening the atmosphere was very relaxing with guest enjoying drinks on the decking areas at the side of the bar these were very nicely lit with blue lights after dark which was so so relaxing, entertainment for me was just right not too loud call it middle of the road if you like, all the musicians were for me a high standard (i do play myself) one set played more traditional greek style music which involved the guests I thought that was fantastic to see people smiling and having a good time how any body could criticise that is beyond me. The mix of guest were mainly British, some German and some Russian, brief summary would be this is a great hotel for couples who want a peaceful relaxing break with transport to local more holiday resort type places a 5 minute walk to the bus stop nearby with a charge of 1.50 euro each to go anywhere (one way) we are already looking at going back in Sept :)

So what do you want out of a sunshine holiday in Cyprus? If you are looking for a five star hotel, then the Sentido Thalassa Coral Bay does not quite get there. The sunshine was available in abundance and I am suitably bronzed now - the Adonis bit will never happen by the way. We arrived tired and a little flaky after a long journey and discovered the hotel was much the same. Tired, a little flaky places and in need of some TLC. Some significant investment in the hotel is essential to replace worn carpets, well used bathrooms and room furniture. The staff are amazing. All were courteous, helpful and did everything they could to make our stay pleasurable. Nothing was too much trouble. These wonderful people made the difference between an average and a very good rating in this review. Food: I have seen negative comments about the all inclusive food package. I was very impressed with the daily variety and quality of the food. Vegetarians and meat eaters will have no problem in finding something to tempt them. The a la carte restaurant was slightly more formal, but the food was prepared and presented to a very high standard. If you do upgrade on arrival (we did not), then think carefully about your waistline before using the 'alc' restaurant each night or pack an extra size in everything. Gym: needs new aerobic equipment. I got by with what was there but it has been used to death and needs replacing. Spa facilities are OK. Male and female sauna but a communal steam room and hot tub. Well used by us. Entertainment: patchy. Get a good performer and everyone in the hotel gets drawn in. Some of the entertainers could not hold a room and relied too heavily on pre recorded tracks (and crass comments about their girl friend - soon to be wife and ex. wife - Muppet!). The Cypriot night was a classic example of true entertainers playing to a crowd and drawing them in. The view: East is the view of Coral Bay - and gets the sunrise. If you are sampling 'upgrade on arrival' booze and food too much, you may not need this as you're less likely to be awake for the sunrise. If you want the beautiful sunsets, then your sight of the sea is over the slightly less appreciated 'over the car park' view. Would we use this hotel again? Probably not. Why? I think we prefer the area closer to Paphos. As it stands, we enjoyed the trip and marked this down as a 4/5 and well worth the money. Well done team Sentido Thalassa - you made the difference. The company needs to invest in your property and give it some sparkle back.
