Mark Lusham and family x
Just returned from 28 wonderful days at this hotel.Very clean and good house keeping. A special holiday made even more so by staff members Lea,Andreous in customer relation,Raphalea at the bar and Ellena at the re vamped Oasis bar. We will have to book again for next year now
Had a lovely family holiday. very chilled and friendly staff. Only gripe was how basic the rooms were. We went self catering but didn't even have a kettle until we asked! Beds not comfortable at all..
Arrived just after mid night on the 5th july for a 2 week holiday check in was very quick . And as the bar was still open we had a quick drink before being taken to our room .. ROOM'S We had a studio apartment just across the road from the hotel it was very nice and clean and had everything you needed as it was very hot you could not sit out on your balcony in the afternoon or early evening which we like to do . The view from the balcony was not great looked out onto an old bus and the supermarket . The rooms were cleaned daily one day bins and next day bedding and towels were changed . We had to ask for toilet roll a couple of times and clean towels as the maid forgot to leave them but overall the rooms were kept tidy . POOL We used the big pool as it was near to our apartment . The first couple of days we got a bed with no problem but we are on holiday and I didn't wan't to get up everyday at 7 to find a bed but this is what you have to do as by 8o'clock most of the sunbeds were gone and if there were any left they were the broken ones . And if you are all inclusive then the big pool is where you need to be as the other pool only has a pay bar and snack bar you will need to come across to the main hotel for your drinks and food. BAR Theie are 2 bar's in this hotel one is for paying guests and the other is for all inclusive guests. We were half board so we used the bar in the lobby . On our first night the bar staff were very friendly . We decided to get the all inclusive drinks band for 5 days (this cost 12 pounds a day and you can have any drinks all day and night up till 23.00 hours that's when the all inclusive bar shuts and if you want more drink you have to pay for it ) what a difference in the way you were treated in the all inclusive bar the staff were very rude and throw the drinks at you and as we where sat in the lobby we had to ask for a glass and not a plastic one as that is what you would get . I can understand if you sat out side to watch the entertainment with children running around but not inside the bar . Food The food was very nice most evenings and as many have said there is always something to eat but I can't understand why they never had chips ( you can ask for some to be cooked ) and 3 days before we left they stated to put chips out why was this because there where a lot more children at the hotel . OVER ALL Most staff were nice and friendly and if you needed anything would go out of they way to help but there were a couple that just didn't want to be there .. We ask about keeping our room as we had a late flight we were told we had to ask on the morning we were leaving which we did only to be told to come back in one hour , one hour later we were told we could not keep it as they had many people coming that afternoon so we spent the rest of the afternoon ( as you have to leave your room by 12 o'clock ) sat in the lobby and did not get picked up for the airport a till 20-30 hours and only 4 new family's arrived in that time so don't know why we could not keep the room till 16.00 hours . Would we stay at this hotel again NO I KNOW PEOPLE MIGHT THINK YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET AND YES THIS WAS A CHEAP HOLIDAY BUT IF THEY FIX THEIR SMALL PROBLEMS THEN THIS WOULD BE A NICE HOTEL IN A LOVELY PART OF PAPHOS .
Been home one week we stayed at Pathos Gardens for 14 nights and all enjoyed ourselves. The room we had was on the Azalea block and was very clean and tidy however needs up dating but livable The hotel staff once we learnt their names were very friendly and the food was great and plenty to choose from. Costas is the restaurant.manager and he does a good job. The bar staff Lucas,Stephanie,Raphaeli and Destini were very nice not forgetting Mr Yes Please. The hotel entertainment staff were great Lucy and Reace worked very hard and are a credit to the hotel.Lea and Andreas were always available to answer any questions and sorted our faulty safe out, also Lea and Costas organised a birthday cake for my sons 16th birthday. The swimming pools are lovely and warm and the hotel has a cold indoor pool which is very refreshing. Our holiday was very good as we made the effort to get to know the staff.
the hotel was very good staff very helpfull & friedly the food was excelant the maids cleaned our rooms daley fresh towles beds made etc .the managment team go out thier way to help u out andras lea outstanding.bar staff lucas vespina & the outhers were superb waiters watresis very good. there was plenty of choice at meal times.the hotel in agood location for beach harbour shops the entertainment team lucy reece & titch very good dident get the playing cards out once .i havent got a bad thing to say about this hotel will definitely be going back. thanks guys for making our holiday special. from nick & family rooms 104 106.
Hi all. Myself and my family have just spent 10days here, I will be honest with you that yes the hotel needs so updating and it's a real pain that there is only one bar to get your all inclusive drinks from the other is payable, we couldn't work why, and to keep guest coming back they really need to rethink it. Alot of people have complained about the staff saying they are rude well I had no issues what so ever and unfortunately people not everyone but alot seam to leave there manners at home so sometimes like everyone in life they can have off days and maybe forget to smile every time. Lea and all the front desk crew were brilliant and if you ask for something they will sort it for you we were asked every day if every thing was ok could they do anything for us, I did ask for my room to be coated in gold leaf and the sun to be turned down that never happened lol...the outdoor pool is like getting into a warm bath but you do have a a lovely cold indoor pool if you need to get your body temp down in a hurry which we needed alot. I would stay here again and defo stay if they just modernised the rooms and sorted the bars out.. Would love to thank all the boys and girls for a lovely stay... Lea and the other gent on guest relations thank you for being so warm and inviting you are a credit to the hotel x
We came here self catering. Two adults and two teenagers. We had a two bedroomed apartment which was huge. Massive lounge, kitchen and loo then stairs to two big double rooms and bathroom. Staff literally cannot do enough for you if ypu need help ask for Andreas or Lea who are quite literally the best, nothing was too much trouble. Whole complex is kept tidy with people working quietly in the background. Small pool by self catering apartments is great for slightly quieter and you have the wonderful Elena for anything you need there. For more activities the big pool by reception has something going on pretty much all day. Evening entertainment and on site supermarket. Everything was just spot on and we had a lovely holiday. Would definately recommend xx
We arrived july 4th for 2 weeks as a family of 7 ...good and bad points Pool area...very good we spent most of our time in the main pool due to having disabled guests in our party ..very nice Not enough sunbeds to accomodate the amount of ppl trying to get around the pool so we saw ppl moving others towels or very nearly sitting on your knee. Nightime entertainment...Now lol Firstly good luck getting a seat We watched 1 show in 2 weeks the area was so full...then you had got ppl squeezing in behind you to sit on a concrete wall then believe it or not their were even ppl standing behind them and in between tables... for the people who wrote reviews on here saying how good they were with the kids i would like to mention "skye" this girl is amazing with the kids and would do anything to make them smile . The lad rep ...doesnt like kids ...the kids heard him say it he was pulled aside and asked never denied it but did apologise..we never bothered with going to the entertainment after this . Kids....i felt my kids were tutted at alot..we are not rude we have good manners as they cost nothing!! But being told off for splashing in the pool by nearby sunbathers was an absolute joke ...also in the dinner hall we had a lot of tutters if our 3 year old dared to breath Dining ....food was fab we cannot fault it we always found something good to eat ...only downside was no chips so had to order everyday then i did notice the day we were leaving a tray of chips and chicken nuggets put out..staff work tirelessly but they were still able to play with my little boy...a huge thankyou to nikki she was absolute wonderful so so polite and willing to help with anything. All inclusive drinks....rude staff most of the time....i found that they were ok if your face fit... my husband got spoken to and served his drinks full to the top.... mine my mum n aunts drinks were half full in plastic glasses slammed on the side n they were always serving the next person b4 u finished ur order...some of the staff were ok and some very rude and we heard numerous others say the same altho they do work tirelessly and i will be honest i did think maybe it was because some ppl were very rude to them also which we did witness which their is no need for ...we however were not rude to them in the slightest Rooms narcissus 106 /105 Rooms were better than we expected Sofa bed shocking we couldnt wait to get home for our own bed..had we of realised it was actually broken and we were sleeping on a plank of wood i would of been to reception to report it ..but we managed to sleep.so we were ok I will say watch out theirs a thief about...my husband celebrated his birthday here and we didnt know until now that ppl had given him money which somebody had taken from his cards also see below Thief!!!! We are absolutly gobsmacked We have arrived home and as you do opened the cases to start the dreaded washing ..inside 1 of my cases was a bag containing a wallet with english money a phone and expensive perfume and aftershave ...the wallet perfume and aftershave are gone and the phone with a broken screen left in the bag . Now we know 100% that we had that wallet and packed it as we had taken some english money from it to use for drinks onboard b4 we locked the cases up!!!! So somebody had been in our room and got into our case We also thought we ought to just mention that 2 days b4 we went out and came in to a tampered with patio door that had to be fixed ... We enjoyed our holiday overall we had a lovely time with the kids , i would of given top marks just a few things let the hotel down...the biggest is finding the culprit who is a thief !!!! This was not reported in resort as we didnt know until we got home ... Reception.staff ...fantastic, very very polite helpful kind Our stay....we enjoyed our holiday overall Just stupid things let it dwn Entertainment being our biggest..as a family it would of been nice to watch the shows without racing for seats as their were not enough . Would we return...No Only because we got robbed
Recently stayed in Ibiscus apartments. Clean and roomy although slightly dated. Lea and Andreas the hotel liaison officers were very friendly and asked us if we had any issues. Had a small problem with air con that was fixed straight away. Pool area and entertainment were very good and couldn't fault the food which was very nice and there was always a good selection of items. The bar staff were very friendly especially Lea's daughter. The beer and soft drinks were fine but did not enjoy the spirits or wine. Would have liked to have been able to get drinks from the main bar and the other pool bar as well and it would have been nice to have a slushy to be included with the all inclusive. Ice creams were available at lunch and dinner though. We were able to keep our room for an additional 4 hours which was handy for a an additional charge of 20 quid (as the guy in reception said which gave us a laugh). It was embarrassing the way some of the guests spoke to the staff. They did well to keep their cool at times.
