CYPRUS
This is a lovely place to stay, in a quiet village, with some lovely places to eat .
The beach is a little distance away which has a beach bar with free sun beds, although it is a pebble beach so walking to sea in bare feet was not recommended.
You do not need to take plug adapters as all the rooms are 3 pin plugs.
Only downside was my room over looked the church which bells rang early on Sundays

It was not a hotel or apartment for a holiday, on arrival at 2030 we found reception area was in darkness, we found security person who checked our names and helped up two flights of stairs with our cases to our rooms ,I ask where we could get a meal or drink, he said there will be a restaurant bar open in the village about ten minuets away
There was no restaurant bar or cold drinks machines on site. The list goes on the room was clean when we arrived, we would not get a cleaner for one week during that one week someone would come in and leave two toilet rolls and [light clean]. If we wanted to go anywhere we needed transport the closest bus was an old mini bus with bad suspension which ran about four times a day through all the back roads to PAPHOS old town or market place, two days before we left it changed to a more suitable mini bus. There was no phone in the room so when we would have to go down two flights of stairs to the office where there was always a queue of people waiting to talk with the one person on duty ,if there was no one on duty there was a phone number to call in the window , It was hard to try and get advice from the staff if they were there as they were always trying to sort problems out for someone .I think photo on the Webb page shows the owners property, our block was above the parking area so at all hours we were woken up with people slamming shut there car doors and revving the engine .we should of been told we needed transport after4pm
We read that there will be a heated pool , unfortunately there wasn’t. It’s far to walk to the beach from the apt. complex . The beach it’s self isn’t really a swimming beach , not a sandy beach.
Also the “spa” and gym looks really bad.
Big apartment - we had a 3 bedroom - with good kitchen facilities.
Lovely pool area, shielded from the wind. Enough loungers for most of the week but over busy on Saturday
We arrived late at night and very pleasant c
Apartments are set in beautifully landscaped garden. A large swimming pool & a smaller one. Mandria is a small village with good quality restaurants that still has a local, as opposed to mass tourism, atmosphere. Roads are quiet in this part of Island & although local beach not the best easy to drive to Girouskipou, Coral Bay or Aphrodite Rock. Apartment staff are very friendly & helpful.

A lovely family hotel, perfect for a relaxing stay
We've experienced many hotels across the world and know what makes a stay special. The moment you arrive you feel like you've been there for days. A good mix of nationalities stay at the hotel showing it has appeal for everybody. If you want a party place then don't book here go to Paphos. This is an ideal hotel to go and relax away from the hassle of busy life. Lia is fantastic at sorting anything from wifi to car rental to excursions, she knows all the local contacts and gets great prices. Evros the Manager treats each guest as family and gives personal service which really shows how much the whole company cares. We visit Cyprus every year or two and won't hesitate booking again. Many thanks
Resort clean and beautiful. Facilities fantastic . Only thing lacking was WiFi was very weak and we were asked to pay 30 euro for the week when checking in but were given it free after we showed our booking. Also air conditioning was on a timer where it turns off after two hours. Despite this the pool and staff were outstanding
If you want a quiet peaceful holiday this is the place to relax and enjoy, there’s a lovely little village of Mandria about a 5 minute walk away which has a few tavernas and restaurants to chose from if eating out, paphos is around a 25 minute drive away so having a car is s good way of getting around
The beach is around a 20/25 minute walk away a bit stony but it has a bar if you like to watch the sunset
There’s sandy beaches further down the coast
We spent 3 nights, very clean apartment, wonderfully maintained, near the pool, wide and well equip. The staff were very helpful and nice. The apartment has everything needed (but no detergents). 15 minutes walk from the beach. We had really wonderful time, surely a pace to come back to!
It was a nice, peaceful and relaxing time. In order to improve facilities must have more often housekeeping (every 2 days). Also it is recommended free WiFi.
Wonderful, safe, quiet, Large apartments. Perfect for Family's wanting to be away from the bustle of Paphos
Village of Mandria very peaceful and has all you require.
Can get around on foot or by public transport however a Hire car is very useful to be able to get around and explore further afield, Only 10 minutes drive to airport and 15 minutes drive to middle of Pathos
Nice small resort within walking distance of a village with well priced restaurants and cafes. Recommend having a rental car available to be able to explore and get to the beach etc.
Timer on aircon a bit of a bummer as it was hot during the night.

Losing its sparkle
This is our 2nd visit in 3 years...to be honest it is now looking a bit jaded. We stayed in a 1st floor apartment B102 and the beds are rock hard. We all had bad backs by the end of the week. The sofa was leather and all flaking off, hard and it was very uncomfortable - in fact, there wasn't anywhere in the whole place that you could get comfy on, even the sunbeds by the pool were old and you could feel every bar underneath. Was nice but we won't be going back.
