We found this to be a nice resort. The Flip Flops dining venue, poolside, featured a friendly and proficient staff. The menu was a bit limited, but offered something for every taste, One plus was that a salad side was offered as an option, not just fries Unfortunately, seasonally in the evening, it can be pretty cool. One night is was very cool, and after a quick drink, we decided to move on. We checked The Tides Lounge & Dining Room inside, but found it colder and sipped our nite cap. The negative aspect was housekeeping service. The Housekeeper skipped any service at all on a couple days. A "do Not Disturb" door hanger was not supplied and had to be requested. When encountered the houskeeper seemed to be looking for ways to provide routine service. The resort does have a green opt out program for full service, but it was not clear what services would still be provided. For example waste removal & dusting. On check in, on one table there was a sticky residue left. It appeared that it might have been a jelly spill only partially wiped off. .
Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Staff was excellent, helpful and very polite. There are multiple places to enjoy food and beverages on site. The property is beautiful as well. Not much beach to go to, but short enough drive to find a really nice beach.
My command and I received top notch service from Sheraton Bay Point Resort for our Army Strong Bonds Event. The rooms were clean and had beautiful views of the pools. The ballrooms were amazing and all of the audiovisual equipment was up-to-date. The restaurants in the hotel delivered great food and excellent customer service. The military- friendly location is also pet-friendly. It is the ideal location for weddings, military events, etc. Meghan Bergaila (Executive Meeting Manager) and her staff are professional and incredibly friendly people. You will feel the love in the atmosphere!
This hotel and conference center has a lot to offer. The staff was very friendly. The grounds were very well maintained. The boardwalk out to the bay and private beach was great. Lots of wildlife on the waters surrounding the walkway and the spectacular sunset were amazing.
People at the front desk were very nice and helpful the rooms were clean the property was clean everything was very nice If I was looking for a nice quiet place to stay on the Acacian away from the beach this would be the place
This was a great getaway for my husband and I. In November, there were not a lot of guests at the resort. We enjoyed the private dock and bay access. The views were amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint, very minor, is that it took the shower about 5 minutes to warm up.
Had a great time in this serene oasis. The food was outrageous and the service excellent. Would recommend to anyone. I especially enjoyed my time at the spa. Very quiet, beautifully done! I'm looking forward to a return visit some day.
The staff was very courteous and friendly. Regardless of our request they accommodated us. The grounds are beautiful and very relaxing. The room was comfortable and extremely clean. The only issue I had was the refrigerator didn't keep anything very cold and there was no microwave, which would have been nice.
I have never stayed anywhere on the Gulf Coast that was not ON THE BEACH. However, we were attending a wedding that was being held at this resort and thought it would be more convenient. I was concerned because I knew this place had been here a very long time. We were very surprised and relieve to find it updated and beautifully appointed. The bedding was fabulous, the room large and comfortable. All amenities well thought out. Shuttle to and from the marina where the wedding was held. On sight restaurants. We were very pleased with the friendliness of the staff and their ability to answer questions, etc.
One of the nicest Sheraton Resort properties I have been to. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Son was competing in the local Ironman competition and the hotel even arranged special shuttles to the event starting from 4:30 AM.
