Origin At Seahaven

The location of the hotel was good although the description was misleading, it said "This 3.5-star condo property has 329 guestrooms and offers a private beach". The hotel is across the street from the beach and there is a locked entry door which your room key opens, but there is NO private beach. Our room had stains on the carpet, the kitchen was not furnished with towels, cloths or scrubbing sponges, the ice maker hardly made any ice and the freezer didn't freeze anything completely. There was some silverware and a knife set but no other cooking utensils and no frying pan. You check in across the street instead of in the hotel. The bright spot in our stays was that are room, unit 404 is very convenient to the pool which is located on level 4.

Great location, very nice condo, extremely clean, friendly staff. Quiet rooms, nice pool area, would Definitely stay here again & would Definitely recommend this place to others to stay for vacation. Close to Pier Park & very nice beach area. On site restaurant across the street with Excellent food.

The hotel was very nice and it was right in front the beach ! we had acces to a private beach with was very peaceful

Stayed 1 night. Perfect stay for 1 night. Staff friendly and nice hotel and pool area.

check in at origins was easy, the staff were very friendly and very informative, elevators were quick and smooth got us up to our room in very short time which is a big plus, only problem we had is our ac stopped working 2nd day but front desk had maintenance up to our room in a reasonable time after checking it out it was determined that ac needed some repairs we called desk and ask to moved to another condo which they did quickly had no more problems will defiantely stay there again

Clean room very comfortable bed will stay again great view of the gulf check was quick and easy and check out was even better a lil pricey tho

I have stayed at this property many times. It's never been a spectacular stay but descent. This time however, it was just unacceptable. I woke up one morning to go to my car, which was park under a balcony, had thrown up all over my hood. Talking to a supervisor at Sea Haven was like talking to a brick wall. I finally was able to get Origins maintenance crew to wash off my car (super nice people). I left a message for the supervisor again to let her know that there was bed bugs in room 427. No call back. This room has bed bugs without a doubt. I have over 30 bites all over my body. I stayed here for spring break with a friend and her daughter (April 2017). She called me last night and said they too have bites all over their bodies. It just wasn't worth the "good deal" for the hassle. I'm terrified now of what I might be going through with this bed bug issue. I tried to take every measure to ensure I didn't bring them into my house but only time will tell.

This has to be the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Except for Becky, the staff was totally rude, especially Chris. No shower certain, no cleaning service, no towels, it was fifth especially the floor! No one even picked up the garbage bag. No coffee maker, nothing to wash the dishes with. The shower head was so dry rotten water dropped out everywhere when trying to shower. The tv was the box type that you couldn't hook anything to. The hot tub didn't work. The elevator was broken. I could go on and on. It was terrible!

Nice staff but overpriced for the small room they provide. Elevators weren't finished with, and toilets wouldn't be barely flush. Overall the stay was ok. Be aware of "damage fee" that you get charged per night regardless if you damage anything or not. This fee tacked on another $100 to my stay AND it's non refundable! Smh!

Gorgeous. Comfortable. Non-inteusive! Great location. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Easy parking. Three elevator locations for ease of access.

very good experiences, a great getaway We enjoyed everything about complex; but I wished you would share all of the expenses with your cutomers before you book the stay.

It was a nice place, but busy area. If you don't mind the night crowd, it's a great place to stay! Will definitely go back!

The floors above us had flood a few days before we got there, so they had big fans in the rooms and hall ways with a big vent machine. It smelled bad in the hall ways.

we got there at 1230 or so Saturday and the lady up front savannah was her name I think told us the room wasn't quite ready if we wanted to go to the beach or pool she would get a rush on it and she would call us when it was ready. So at 430 I go back to the front desk and its still not ready I told them this was crap and she called security on me and I never cussed her or threatened her. So I leave and we give them about 20 more minutes and my wife goes back up there and the lady at the front is terribly rude to her. I was supposed to have a oceanview room and she was telling me how nice it was when I first got there. But I guess since we were upset for waiting so long she thought it would be funny to put us in a smaller room in the back with no view and that's what she did......absolutely the worst place I've ever stayed......bar none.....we should a just went to the motel 6....it woulda been cheaper and I garuntee you the people would have been nicer. she told my wife if we had kids we wouldn't be blowing money for that expensive a room for one night....lol.....we have 3. she is young and stupid and is not representing this business well. we will not be back there and we will tell everyone we know to stay away from this place.

It was comfortable and peaceful it was so vacation from home. I'll looking forward to do it again.

I would go back. The only thing I was not sure of it was confusing on the connection with origin. They kept saying there is no connection but there are origon. We had to check in across the street somewhat confusing.

I booked online based on photos, location and price. The condo was nice, and well equipped, but the check-in process was miserable. First, the welcome desk onsite was not where I needed to check in. I was told to do so across the street. When I got over there, I was told that while I paid online, it didn't include several SIGNIFICANT fees, which caused the price of the rental to more than double. Additionally, the rental staff was not available 24 hours. I wanted to check out early in the morning, but had to wait until they opened, which delayed my departure to the point I almost missed my flight. Also, for those unaware, this condo is across the street from the beach, not right on it. That was not clearly stated, and I don't want anyone expecting a beachfront condo to be disappointed.

when we booked the hotel we were told it was on the beach that is a lie its across the street. To get clean towels we had to bag up the dirty ones and carry them across the street to the office .the room was supposed to be a 1 bed room with ocean view bit instead it was just one room and to veiw the ocean you had to go out on the balcony and peep around the courner of the building....if you have children i would NOT RECOMEND this hotel

When I went to check in they told me that I had to check in across the street at another building. Weird. I checking into the room an there was no shower curtain. The entire bath room was just laid out strange. The room lighting was poor. The wifi was terrible. I could not use my tablet to get on the internet nor could I get a descent signal with my cell phone. House keeping never changed my linen. The hot tub was broken. It was good to be across from Sharkey's restaurant. And staying here gave access to a private beach. Don't think I will stay here again. Nice try Origin but better luck with your next customers.

This is a fraction of the bites... over 30 bites Guest staying in the room with the balcony threw up on my car. Sea Haven management
