May Weekend Trip

We had an incredible time at this beautiful home. Everything is spotless and everyone was very comfortable. The water is just steps away and you can't beat the location. We will definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to everyone!

Annual Labor Day vacation with family is always a success when using VRBO, Are We there Yet home was Exactly what we needed! Just steps away from the Sand & Beach, woke up to a beautiful view & got to enjoy our coffee on the home balcony right outside our bedroom! Home was fully equipped and we cooked daily. We also loved that the home was on a private property & kept the beach very clean and secluded from tourist.

Always Great House

Karen was great to work with. We’ve stayed here 8 or 9 times in past 15 years and love the house and layout. We normally have at least 2 of our children so it’s very roomy. They have fixed the beach chair setups but for 3 days our chairs were 150’ from our house. We ask the beach service guys to resolve it and they did 3 days later. But this is a new group now so they’re getting it figured out. This has little to do with Are We There Yet but The other thing, you can’t check in until 4pm and it’s been that way for several years now but check out keeps moving up and now it’s 9 am. Just be aware of the fine print 😕 As for the property, the owners have made some updates and I’m sure they’re working on some more. It’s still one of my favorite homes to stay in. Also know another big house is going up next door between the house and Walk-over. Didn’t bother us but it surprised us.

Excellent and well maintained property

Excellent property, 2nd time staying in the community -we love everything about the community and this property was very well maintained and in good working order. Excellent for family of 4, with both sets of in-laws for the week.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Karen communicated with us clearly between booking and check in. It’s in the perfect location to the beach. It was perfect for my bridesmaids and family during my wedding (as the walkover is directly next door) Check out was early, but other than that- it was a great stay!

Loved this place!

This is a great property and we would definitely come back! Carillon beach is a great location and we loved the calmness of the neighborhood. You can’t beat the size of this house, gorgeous views, and easy access to the beach.

Great family vacation!

Carillon Beach is a fantastic beach community! This was a great house to stay at right on the beach with family. We loved every minute of it and would 100% stay here again for future trips! Very easy communication with the owner!

Fantastic place right on the beach!

Are We There Yet is an incredible beach front home. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and plenty of beach towels. Our family enjoyed our time here so much. Karen and Kristi were both great to work with.

Peaceful week

We have always enjoyed Are we there yet but with the updates, like the bedding and refrigerator. But no DVD player, no local channels that we could find so we got into Netflix. Overall much better than our last stay there.

Hurricane Sally!

We had an amazing 2 weeks at our favorite beach spot and we have visited beaches everywhere! Nothing is better than having all your family under one roof on the beach. We stayed through Hurricane Sally and rode bikes through the water, stomped in water puddles, made videos, and moved our beach party to the pool one day. Karen is AMAZING! We have used vrbo for several years and stayed in lots of homes and she is the best property manager I have ever dealt with anywhere. The house worked great for us. My only suggestion is some extra bed pillows.

Annual Family Beach Trip

We’ve been coming to Carillon Beach for ten years! Our family has grown and Are We There Yet was perfect for our ever increasing family. Perfect, spacious and being right on the ocean is just perfect! My parents have gotten older and I love that they can sit on the back porch and gaze out at the beautiful ocean.....especially at sunset!!
