Rustic chalet, comfortable. Clean, beautiful area

Rustic property in the beautiful Idylwide. Very quiet, clean, generous with towels, but advise you to bring hand soap! Was very cold as elevation is greater than 6,000 feet, but the owner generously provided heaters which worked very well. Very helpful and responsive, beautiful area!!

The property is nice. A little old bit it has everything you need. There are some appliances old like the toaster and some pans. The tv and wifi work very well.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had an excellent weekend in this cabin, I loved it, it is a little difficult to find it because I arrived at night so it is difficult to see the number and everything in the house It would be good to put the number visible, but I loved it I loved that wide and quality and price.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin had everything we needed for a fun, cozy winter weekend away in the mountains. The place was clean and incredibly well maintained. We felt (in a good way) like we’d entered a time machine back to the 1970s. Highly recommended for a simple, affordable mountain retreat!

Great spot! 70's/80's vibe was cool.

Location was good. Was real short drive to town. You could start your hikes from the house, if you wanted. You can buy wood for fireplace for cheaper in town, than the delivery service, not to mention, you also have to order in advance for the weekends. There is a propane grill on site and you still need the fire permit to use it. This place has a basketball hoop too, but I couldn't find a basketball...so bring your own. Overall, I would book again, except, I would bring my dog next time. The town is very dog friendly!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a bit run down, but quiet. The floor and stairs sagged in places. The hand rail came undone and the curtains fell on us when closing. The porch was lovely. It would have been nice to have chair cushions.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First Issue: I stayed in this cabin for 3 nights and honestly I would have left after the first night but refunded would have been offered and we really needed this vacation for a long 3 years of working. Everything is included in the rental but holy moly the beds feel like you are sleeping on rocks!!! we had to sleep on the chair and couch in the living room! The most uncomfortable beds I've laid in my life!! If you want a good not sleep or rest do not stay here unless your okay with sleeping on the couch!Second issue: Around 2am our power went out as soon as we turned-on a heater they had in the room! so we had to reset the breaker. We then just stayed in the Livingroom anyway so we had a small space heater they had provided
