I paid in full for three days in 10/22 and then owner decided she could get more for concert dates so first wanted another $2000 since she said she posted bad rates on VRBO. I told her no, I already paid in full so she just canceled my reservation/. I am going to take her to court for this, unethical and wrong. She be required to take her off your site!

Palm Desert Casita

By far one of the best vacation experiences we have ever had! The property was amazing, the owner was even more amazing! So accommodating and conscientious! Spared no detail! We loved it and will definitely go back! Thank you Dawn for an amazing experience!

Great property but a few surprises

This is a great get away stay however we were surprised to find out the each time we used the hot tub we would be charged $20. Also there was no shampoo or conditioner so we had to go to the store to purchase. The decor is nice but if you are wanting to sit and watch a movie or a sporting event this space is not for you... the TJ Max settee is not only uncomfortable but very small. I too am an interior designer in Sun Valley ID and the space to set and relax is large enough for a suitable love seat.

Surprised

Mostly good. I mistakenly though property was a separate stand alone building not an attached studio guest house. That could have been my fault for not reading the add correctly? Owner seemed nice. Was surprised when I suggested to the owner I wanted to invite two friends over for outdoor BBQ and was told that wasn’t an option.

Wonderful, quiet and beautiful

In to watch tennis for the weekend. Lovely place for my husband and I to stay and enjoy time away. The casita is beautiful, exceptionally clean and well appointed. Convenient location and Dawn was an amazing host. Fresh flowers and citrus as well as restaurant recommendations. Easy to connect with although we didn’t need much…. She took care of all the details including sending us a video of how to get to the casita since we arrived late. We will stay here again for sure!

Good Vibes Only

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning private Casita in Palm Desert and it was truly a dream come true. We were struck by the beauty of the property and the attached Casita from the moment we arrived. The lush greenery of the trimmed bushes, the sparkling pool and its refreshing waterfall, and the inviting outdoor entertainment area all combined to create a picture-perfect oasis in the desert. If you like a good good steak, you will enjoy the high-end full-length stainless steel Firemagic Grill and Stove (and a propane smoker too) Almost forgot to mention the entertainment area also features a "full-length fire pit" that is gas operated and colored stone that illuminates in the dark. One of the highlights of our stay was the abundance of fresh lemons and oranges growing on the trees just outside the front door of the Casita. The owner would pick these huge and luscious fruits and gift them to us in a bowl outside our door. We enjoyed the freshly squeezed juice for breakfast and evening cocktails - it added a special touch to the experience. The Casita was impeccably decorated and meticulously designed, with every comfort and convenience we could have requested. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with a Keurig coffee maker and easy to use. The bathroom was clean and modern, featuring a full walk-in shower. Next to the King size bed (with incredibly comfortable pillows) is a huge walk-in closet cleverly incorporated into the design. But perhaps my favorite feature of the property was the putting green - it was such a fun way to pass the time in such a beautiful setting. We highly recommend this private Casita to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing and unforgettable vacation experience. The attention to detail and care the owner has put into creating this oasis truly shines through and we can't wait to return.

LOVED IT!

We absolutely enjoyed our time at the Casita! The location is perfect for all the activities there are to do in the area and the owner of the casita is a GEM. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was fabulous. She made the Casita so welcoming and gave us wonderful recommendation for activities in the area. We enjoyed the hot tub, the golf green and wonderful star gazing. Palm Desert has so much to offer. Wish we could have stayed longer than 5 days! We will definitely be back. Thank YOU!

The GoldenHour was everything and more

Not only is the space absolutely luxurious and comfortable, but the owner is so attentive, warm and kind which made our stay absolutely excellent. We stayed in the Casita which was spacious and full of tons of special amenities like a rain shower, fresh flowers, Netflix on a flat screen and designer linen and bedding. The pool and jacuzzi were available and provided a great space to watch the stars at night or catch an amazing desert sunrise which we did both days we were there. It’s so quiet which was a welcome quality given we were on a short off the grid weekend vacay. The mini putting green was also a great touch, so I was able to get a few practice hits in too. Will definitely be back again and probably bring our full family and rent out other parts of the house. Definitely recommend it!

Spur of the moment get away

The host was gracious and gave us a quick tour when we arrived. The casita is absolutely stunning. The bed is super comfortable and everything in the place is brand new. The location is tucked in the hills of South Palm Desert very close to my client's country club. We really enjoyed the privacy of the casita and the pool area. At night we got in the hot jacuzzi and star gazed all night long. We slept peacefully and woke up and went for a hike nearby. This place is heavenly and we will be back here very soon. This casita is AMAZING!!

This place is even more beautiful and comfortable than the pics can show. I felt like I was in a little oasis. I had access to the large pool and Jacuzzi, BBQ area, fire pits and golf putting green. I felt like I was in a resort. Dawn was a fantastic host. She lives on the property, but I only engaged with her when I needed something. The space felt private and it's absolutely gorgeous at night!! There are private two entrances (front door and back door). There are several lounge areas outside to star gaze. The outside area looks straight out of a magazine! You will definitely miss out if you don't book this casita!! It is so close to a beautiful park (walking distance) and all the shops on El Paseo (1.5 miles). The area is very quiet and immaculate. If you want a resort type feel or romantic getaway, this casita is amazing for that!!

Dawn was Amazing Host

I had a very great experience Dawn was an exceptional host that pays attention to detail. And the property looked even better in person it was immaculate from start to finish. Thank you again Dawn for your generosity and hospitality. I took my wife there for her birthday and Dawn even bought her a card and little present she goes above and beyond.
