First thing I had to do was clean off the air conditioner. It was full of dirt. The floors were not even swept. The bathroom was clean and the sink was clean and there were clean towels. The bed was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was off and it took several hours to cool the room. The only staff I saw was the man who checked us in. The lamp on the end table had no outlet so it had to be moved to the other side of the bed with no table. Since Palacios is a fishing town and this is the only hotel in town, you have no choice but to stay there it was OK, but I wouldn’t go back. The ice bucket and tray had different hotel names on them.
