On arrival (During standard hours) there was no-one at reception and we had to call to get let in. The facility is definitely understaffed. When entering our room we discovered that the aircon was out (Looks like for years) and was known to be out, but they tried to hide this from us. Eventually a portable but extremely noisy unit was provided. The drier didn't work, various other fixtures were hanging by a thread or loose. Disappointing given the premium price we paid and probably a breach of the consumer guarantees act

Best location in town, right on the beach and close to restaurants and bars. Ferry terminal 2 minutes walk. The apartment is spotlessly clean, modern, bright, and fully equipped. Beautiful pool and landscaped courtyards.

Arrived to ground floor apartment not on waterfront! Told that apartments with waterfront view are all privately owned. Spoke to lady host who couldnโ€™t care less!Felt very disappointed and deceived by name of apartments. We had a view of the swimming pool which was a narrow strip were only one person could swim at a time. Ground floor apartments were all close together, noisy with little privacy. Apartment itself fine, plenty of room and clean. Could have stayed at home and experienced that.

Wonderful apartment

The apartment was spotless and well equipped. Lots of homey touches like fresh milk and bottles of water. Beautifully decorated and spacious. Bed was comfortable with plenty of storage in the bedroom. Great location for everything in Paihia. A gorgeous scenic spot right on the water.
