Staff were amazing couldn’t have been more helpful to me and my disabled son, room’s clean and comfortable beds. Only thing that I can suggest is some of the rooms could do with having fans in the room’s as it’s very warm in hot weather. About a 5 minute walk to the pier. We had a wonderful time 😊

My single sea facing room was ready before the due time and was found to be very clean and well stocked with complimentary tea, coffee, milk, etc. The room was cleaned every day. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly and my stay very welcome. A full English breakfast gave me a great start to the day. I recommend the Esplande Hotel in Paignton

Wow! A long overdue make over, clean, tidy with a nice refreshing look. Breakfast a massive improvement. Only complaint, no evening entertainment, the biggest weekend in Paignton for the air show and nothing. Other hotels did but sadly not the Esplanade.

The room itself was clean and tidy Staff were very friendly Breakfast needs looking at running out of eggs sausages with a full hotel is not good enough. Took ages to be served waiting in a queue. Saturday evening lift broke still broken Sunday morning lots of older people struggling to get upstairs not nice to see .Apart from this we had a nice weekend .

Room was clean and staff excellent. We were upgraded to a sea-view as we were staying a week and the views were amazing. Only gripe I had was that the shower was great but too near the toilet so you had to back in as there wasn't enough room to turn - I'm big and the space to walk up the side of the shower to the toilet was about three centimetres smaller than my shoulder width.

We had a very nice stay and enjoyed ourselves. The only problem we had was the lift breaking down a lot and took a long time to get fixed. We were only on the first floor and we did not ask not to have to use the stairs so it was not too much of a problem. We will come again.

2nd visit here so was slightly disappointed with the room this time as the bathroom was tiny and the shower was so small and had a high step to get in it i was unable to use it due to issues with one of my legs so had to strip wash for 3 days and just put my head in when washing hair.
