This modern newly remodeled studio is hidden away in our tropical sanctuary we call Mangolani Inn. The studio has a king size bed, comfy love seat w/ driftwood coffee table & Mango wood dresser. Spa like custom tile bathroom and shower will make you feel like you are staying in a five star resort. Guests have access to a shared wet bar and BBQ area, streaming wifi, secured off street parking, hot tub, beach gear, and all linens provided. 10 min walk to the coolest beach town in Maui with eclectic one of a kind shops, restaurants, organic food store, and world class beaches. We are 3 doors down from the yoga shala and organic cafe. Large park like yard with avocado, mango, and banana trees. The property is centrally located on island. Close to airport, and downtown while at the same time a short drive to rainforest and waterfalls. We are surrounded by miles old sugar cane fields and a very low density of housing gives you the feeling of being out in the country, not like being trapped in a corporate mega resort full of other tourists. You will get to experience what it's like to live as locals do and really catch the true essence of Hawaiian Aloha. Paia is the last stop for fuel and supplies before embarking on the long road to Hana so it a great starting point for each days activities weather it be hiking to a waterfall, driving up to the Volcano summit of Haleakala, or finding a perfect beach to surf or relax. You can drive to pretty much anywhere on island in 45 min to an hour from our location so its a great base for most everyones daily adventures. Paia town has amazing one of a kind restaurants, massage, yoga, organic grocery store and shopping galore. Paia has unique boutiques and stores selling items you won't find anywhere else on Maui. There is only one stop light in town. You will see bumper stickers that say "slow down this ain't the mainland" and "Practice Aloha"

Chill spot in Paia

Mangolani little compound just up the road from Paia Town was the perfect place for us. Close to surf spots, kitesurfing and fun swimming beaches, with sea turtles! Dave, the proprietor is super helpful and full of local knowledge. Loved the yard, the room, the kitchen and the overall vibe. Highly recommend this place!

A very convenient and peaceful location

I loved my stay here at this property. The host is very nice and the updated rooms for renters are really beautiful. It is an easy walk into Paia and close to great surf spots. It is a great location if you want to stay in Paia. The hot tub was great for before and after surfing as well. I love the zen style of the property it makes it extra peaceful.

We had an exceptional stay at this inn. Communication with the owner was seamless, and check-in was effortless. Our room was immaculate, and the thoughtful touches—especially the beautiful anniversary lei—made our stay feel truly special.The amenities are outstanding, from the garden courtyard to the curated artwork, outdoor kitchen, and jacuzzi. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the staff. Epes, who managed the inn during our stay, took incredible care of us, offering fantastic food recommendations and guidance on the best hikes on the island.We were there during a massive Kona storm, and despite the challenging conditions, they made our stay comfortable, safe, and memorable. This is easily one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed.

When can I go back?

I loved our stay at Mangolani. I would, WILL, go back. The accomodations are beautiful, peaceful, green and feel authentic and local. The onsite host, Epps, is a warm and friendly guy who grew up in the area and knows Maui well, offered great suggestions of places to go, see or eat. Our room, with its private shady lanai, complete with very nice outdoor sofa, was a refuge, my boyfriend spent hours reading in the warm breezes. There is a full kitchen in which you could cook literally anything, that has the delightful novelty of being outdoor but also well protected from the wind and sun.

Fantastic Little Place

Dave's place is absolutely awesome. In the perfect spot to be centrally located, but away from the crowds. Beautiful little space on a great property. Easy walk to food and the beach but in a chill tucked away setting. Dave was very communicative and a great host. Absolutely recommend!
