The apartment was nice & clean, & looked good. We liked the location, & being able to walk to Mama’s Beach. It was beautiful, & we saw turtles. The host included directions to get to the beach, which was very helpful. We only stayed one night, & thought, as adults, we could tolerate sleeping on the sleeper sofa. We were wrong about that. I did ask the host about it, & he did include a mattress topper to help, but it did not go well. The springs have worn out, so you get pressed into the bar, in the bed. I would only recommend that sleeper to children. The bed in the bedroom seemed fine, but we let the elderly couple with us take the bedroom.

This VRBO was very nice and suited our needs very well. The interaction with the host was done through emails. It was easy to find, instructions were well provided that allowed us to use the facilities. It was really nice having a laundry facilities that was close. All of the accommodations were nice. The thing that’s was extremely nice for us. Was the location near Piea with access to the beach next to mama’s Fish House.

We stayed at Kuau Surf 2.0 twice this month. It is very convenient to Paia town. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The communication from the host was great. Everything was exactly as advertised. This would be our first choice should we need lodging on this side of the island.

Front door lock was too difficult to work, the property should be treated by pest control and the WiFi did not work well. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and Mama’s fish house and the beach is walking distance.

Mommas beach condo

We only stayed for one night and since our flight was delayed we didn’t get in until 10 pm. The place was good, air condition worked well, the bed was comfortable. Check in was easy. We did get to enjoy a little walk around the neighborhood in the morning, great little spot right behind mommas fish house.

Comfortable and well maintained

Short walk to the beach, as well as Mama's Fish House. Beach gear was available for us, and there is a nice green space off the patio. We were very comfortable during our stay.

Perfect for a stay near Paiia

The apartment was everything as described on the listing. Communication great resulting in Check in process very easy. Ideal if you are visiting Mamas Fish House or as a starting/ finishing point to the Road to Hana. Would definitely stay again.

Road to Hana and Sunrise Trip

The location and accommodation was perfect for our trip. We stayed before and after our trip to Hana. We were able to get to all the areas of the Island that were on our must do list. We had everything we needed and were thankful for how well stocked the property was. The only challenge we had was with the coffee maker, the incorrect carafe was provide. The coffee pot had to be held in order to get the coffee to flow and not overflow out of the basket. I would recommend getting that replaced! Thanks for a great place to stay.

Tossing and Turning

The place is well renovatex but it's right by a busy road with loud traffic. Also, the bed is stiff and uncomfortable. Not worth the nightly rate.

Comfortable and Perfectly located

Everything was perfect except the back sliding door was near to impossible to open. It needs to be addressed immediately. My friend was eventually able to force it open, only because he is a strong and tall person. He was able to use his body strength to open it. We enjoyed your stay at this clean and comfortable condo. The location is excellent for any place you may want to visit up country. Mahalo.

Surf 2.0

Overall a great place to crash before starting your trek to Hana. It was clean. Also has a huge back yard great for playing football or frisbee. I would stay here again. My only wish was that coffee was provided.
