The heater was very loud, the bathroom vent was even louder. There was stains on the walls not sure if it was food or blood. The carpet also had stains.
I loved it, friendly staff, fast service and was actually very clean. Thank you Guys 🙏
We live in Oxnard but needed a place for the weekend while our house was being fumigated. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast. The hotel needs service outside but the room was clean. Fridge and microwave available, that's a plus. Usually other hotels that cost more don't have a fridge or microwave available. I will stay here if necessary plus easy walk to starbucks.

Where do I start? I arrived on Friday at 1145, only to read a note on the door that said the lobby was closed and wouldn’t be open until seven. The hotel clerk, who was on her way out, refused to book me into my room even when she knew I had paid to stay in the room on Friday. She told me to contact Orbitz for a refund. I had to spend a hundred bucks to stay in a crappy room Friday. Saturday morning, I showed up, because I had reservations for Friday and Saturday. They would not reverse the charges on my credit card for the night they wouldn’t book me in. They told me to contact Orbitz for a refund. When I booked the room, there was no mention of a deadline for check-in, and the Channel Islands Inn has no night clerks after 11. What I want to know is am I going to get a refund from Orbitz, because I’m not gonna get one from the Channel Islands Inn. I’ve been staying at that hotel four or five times a year for at least ten years, and it’s declined drastically. Because of that incident, I will never stay their again. If I’m not compensated for the room I paid for, but didn’t get to stay in, I’ll be booking the rooms of my new hotel through Expedia, or Trivago, or one of the other companies. No working WiFi in rooms after 1 move and 5 tries,it advertised that they had it, 2 towels for 2 guests, bugs in bathroom, 4 hr wait for additional towels and a working coffee pot. It took at least 5 trips to get something. Dog poop in front of rooms. Trash on the parking lot. Breakfast, called continental, was very minimal. We will definitely not return or recommend it.
Room was poorly cleaned, never saw any maids on staff. Graffiti on the walls and room numbers.
The room was great! Staff was really nice..quick check in and the room was available when we got there
Didn't have a good experience at all. Pool not available but we were not told when we booked. Room was dirty, lots of stains and felt dirty too. Surrounding area didn't appear safe. We didn't stay, we left 30 mins after checking in.
Entire property needs updating. Everything is run down - including blacktop in parking areas and landscaping.
