Stayed for 4 days. Excellent location, between two underground stations, loads of convenient shops around and a handy mini supermarket nearby. 30mins walk to major shopping district. Enough room space for me and my friend, the bed is standard Japanese style. Clean and quiet at night.
This hotel is presented by the website much better than it is! If you don’t have more budget for an hotel then I guess that it might be ok. It is clean, but make sure to don’t take a large suit case otherwise you and your suitcase won’t fit in the room, so just take a back pack or a cabin suitcase. There is not space for both in a double room. The restroom is the same thing you need to make sure your partner or your spouse would like to take turns to get into the restroom. It is a very uncomfortable place. The amenities need to be collected in the lobby prior you go to your room so be prepared to have some space to bring it with you. The personnel in the reception doesn’t understand English well and does not speakers well either so it is a challenge to check in, fortunately the next day when we check out it was a lady that speak English a little bit better than the rest and help us a great deal with some directions. Breakfast is very poor and only one menu bread was gone and they didn’t have even enough juice or coffee. They charge extra for late check out even if it is one more hour, the extra hour is 2,000 yen. They keep you luggage and I was surprised they didn’t charge us for it! Honestly If we can we will never stay again in an hotel like this! And we don’t recommend it! Look for something else if you can!
Conveniently located about 5 plus minutes’ walk from the nearest subway station. Walking distances in any direction there are always restaurants nearby. About U$10 for breakfast is okay but you get the exact same variety each morning. For that, it’s better worth to have it elsewhere, or buy from nearby convenient stores.
we've stayed in the same chain hotels in Japan earlier. Affordable medium priced hotel. The room was clean and nice. Staff was friendly. Hotel is good located about ¨10 mins walk from the nearby subway (sakaisuji-hommachi). We tried one morning for breakfast in the hotel which I can not recommend ( breakfast cost 1000 yen). otherwise nothing bad to say.
We've spent 1 night here; it was OK, even if the room was really very small; we haven't tried breakfast here. The staff was helpful as needed. The castle is ~30 min walk, there are some reastaurants nearby as well (and very nice wincebar I can't find on tripadvisor still)
We stayed here a few nights and it was pretty good. The rooms are not a bad size for Japan. The hotel provided all the basics like toothbrush, razor, shaving foam, ice machines, etc and was in a quiet spot easily accessed from Kitahama station.
Location=in between 2 subways of Sakaisuji Honmachi station & Kitahama station & Both have to walk about 7 minutes to reach hotel. Room size- kind of small and is common in Japan. Bathroom small bath tub, probably you liability use it for shower instead. This hotel suits more for business instead of leisure. They have few eateries nearby, drugstores and 24hrs minimarts about few minutes walk. Front desk=only 1 guy is superbly rude & wasn't helpful.he slammed my phone,, I was telling him about the wifi in the room was bad.never thought that this kind of service provided in Japan. I kept asking his name but he refused to gave.
Clean rooms, newish everything and nice overall. Location pretty close to metro station. Nice small restaurants in the area and breakfast available too basically around the block in cafe. Place to go for couples and business travelers. English speaking staff.
got a good price on the room with kitchenette so i can save money for the meal. room size just as usual as japan standard (so its small :D ) the location quite ok, around 500-600meter from subway sakaisuji honmachi foods nearby is quite cheap and great overall still great hotel for osaka
This hotel was okay, it was clean enough the rooms are a bit on the smaller side (even for hotels in Japan), the staff were pleasant but it certainly didn't have any personality. I think we were a little unlucky as it was New Years and a lot of restaurants/bars around the hotel were closed as was the restaurant at the hotel so it made it feel like it wasn't in the best location even though its close to the train station and s stroll to Dontobori.
