Location=in between 2 subways of Sakaisuji Honmachi station & Kitahama station & Both have to walk about 7 minutes to reach hotel. Room size- kind of small and is common in Japan. Bathroom small bath tub, probably you liability use it for shower instead. This hotel suits more for business instead of leisure. They have few eateries nearby, drugstores and 24hrs minimarts about few minutes walk. Front desk=only 1 guy is superbly rude & wasn't helpful.he slammed my phone,, I was telling him about the wifi in the room was bad.never thought that this kind of service provided in Japan. I kept asking his name but he refused to gave.
Clean rooms, newish everything and nice overall. Location pretty close to metro station. Nice small restaurants in the area and breakfast available too basically around the block in cafe. Place to go for couples and business travelers. English speaking staff.
got a good price on the room with kitchenette so i can save money for the meal. room size just as usual as japan standard (so its small :D ) the location quite ok, around 500-600meter from subway sakaisuji honmachi foods nearby is quite cheap and great overall still great hotel for osaka
This hotel was okay, it was clean enough the rooms are a bit on the smaller side (even for hotels in Japan), the staff were pleasant but it certainly didn't have any personality. I think we were a little unlucky as it was New Years and a lot of restaurants/bars around the hotel were closed as was the restaurant at the hotel so it made it feel like it wasn't in the best location even though its close to the train station and s stroll to Dontobori.
The hotel is about 10 mins walk from the railway station (sakaisuji-hommachi). The hotel room is small but clean. Overall the hotel condition is good and I will recommend this hotel to my friends.
Location was okey, very accessible through multiple subway lines however the room was a bit too tiny. I thought it was just because its "Japan" and everything was compact but my husband and I found it hard to place our belongings and even invite people to our room. We stayed for 10 days and the initial fee does not cover buffet breakfast for two people even though they advertised that the price comes with breakfast, it only covered for one person. Bed was hard and the bathroom was very tiny as well. "Kitchenette" only comes with microwave and kettle and a sink. so yeah no stove or anything. The buffet breakfast was 1000 yen and its the same every single day. I know japs doesnt see breakfast as an important meal but if you are paying 1000 yen per person a day atleast do something different. not much variety either. there was a laundry room which was free to use you just have to pay for the detergent, though we found the dryer was useless. very weak and you might as well spend a whole day waiting for your clothes to dry. Also no cameras in the laundry room so if someone fancy your clothes they can just easily take it out and no one will know. Service was not too bad. cleaning lady was very polite, one female receptionist was a total grump, the rest was polite and happy to help.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. All front desk staff spoke English well enough to meet our needs. The room was nice but way too small. We requested a room for 4 (2 adults, a 4yo and 2yo). The 2 beds were slightly larger than a twin, large enough for the kids to share, but the other bed was uncomfortably Smail for my wife and I. All in all, I would stay again with fewer people or a room with more beds.
Me and my partner are currently staying in this hotel for 7 nights. Couldn't be happier with the room, staff, amenities and location. We are staying in the standard double room, which has a very comfortable bed, decent sized room and the shower is to die for. This is a business hotel, but is also perfect for tourists as many of the main areas (Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Osaka Castle) are a nice leisurely walk away. It is also close to many train/subway stations Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to tourists/travellers visiting Osaka. We visited Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka in this trip and this was the most expensive accommodation. We stayed at Mystays Kyoto Shijo and Shiba Park in Tokyo, they were central, large rooms and much cheaper than this one. In addition to the very small rooms, although we paid extra for the Deluxe Twin, the laundry facilities that they claim to have is appauling. The washing machine and especially dryers are of poor quality and took forever to dry a normal load leading some to spend New Year's Eve in the laundry room waiting!!! Should prefer if they charge to use the facilities and get industrial quality machines. Very frustrating!!!!
My wife and I stayed here a couple of nights and were charged at least double the price what the stay at this hotel was worth. Location is good, convenient access to transportation and other areas (within a 30 minute walk), but aside from that I rate this place poor because I could have paid the same amount for much more value. It's not terrible but it's not worth the money. If I paid half of what I paid I might rate it as good. Here are my main issues: 1) the room we were staying in was extremely small since we had luggage, pictures are misleading. There are virtually no windows, it's like a box with an excuse for a window with a film covering it, where you can't see the outside. Leading into point 2) below (assuming they don't want you to see the trash dock). 2) the room we were in was next to the trash loading dock where every morning at 5 am we were enjoying the show. 3) the restaurant downstairs is pretty much useless if you don't speak the language. We tried to go there for lunch because it said English menus but there wasn't; we asked for a menu with pictures but they didn't have one, so we left. Good thing is that there are lots of nice restaurants around so you don't need to bother with this place. 4) All this, plus the price, and you don't get early check in and it takes the hotel 4-5 hours to clean your room; so if you need to stop back in your room midday, forget it. A minor issue, but the music in the lobby reminds me of a bad remix of the jeopardy song that is played all day in perpetuity. It borders on the line of insanity. I don't know how the employees actually don't lose their mind. Anyway: not worth the money. Take a 50% discount and maybe you'll like it.
