Disliked: Cleanliness
We really enjoyed our stay here for the most part. The location is fabulous, room spacious, and host was quite kind and easy to communicate with. Also was super pleased with the in room laundry availability. The one issue we struggled with was the cleanliness of the VRBO when we arrived. The first issue was the black hair everywhere. While we don’t mind a couple stragglers, here and there, but it was in every single place. On the bed, coming off the clean towels onto our bodies, in the kitchen, in she shower and quite frankly all over the floor. The second issue we had was the room had a fishy smell the entire stay. I am unsure as to what caused it, we thought it might have been the sink as it had draining issues or maybe the previous people who stayed, but it was a pretty brutal smell and continued the entire time. We tried our best to deodorize the room and run soap down the sink, but nothing helped. We didn’t even utilize the kitchen due to this. I was a bit disappointed as the host told us that she had cleaners come in between guests and it felt like it wasn’t overly clean. Also - there is lots of construction in the area, so I wouldn’t plan on sleeping in while you stay here as it is very noisy from 8am on. Overall, you get your moneys worth and it’s a really cute place to stay with lots of space and the balcony. If you don’t mind a little hair and stinky smells - it is worth it.
