Overall, the property and home were as described in the listing. My biggest issue was communication with the property owners. Upon arriving I realize I never received the email with check-in instructions. I called the office and left voicemails, sent an email, and tried contacted the company through the booking app. Finally someone emailed me back (not called) to tell me to check my spam folder for the email. I again called the office and left voicemails, emailed, and replied on the booking app to state that I didn’t have an email in any of my folders and asked if they could please just send me the check-in instructions. Finally, after leaving a voicemail on the maintenance line, a maintenance person called me back. They were less than helpful and skeptical about the fact that I was checking in too early. It was around 2 PM and check-in is 4 PM . I never stated I was checking in early I just simply needed the instructions. The maintenance person said that she would contact someone else. So then, an office personnel called me after about an hour and she again was overly concerned about the fact that I was trying to check in early. I finally received the email with the instructions and hour and a half later.
Once we got to the home there were issues with the pool and again I called the office, left voicemails, and nobody ever return my phone call. I do think someone did come to clean the pool because it was magically cleaner one day after returning from the parks, but no one ever return my phone call. I would’ve told them that the pool light is broken. We had two small children with us, and they were not able to swim at night because of it. This was sort of a big deal because we did the Disney parks during the day and wanted to use the pool in the evening after the long days, but we weren’t able to after dark. I am literally never one to complain or write these reviews but the lack of communication really impacted our stay and I hate that because it was just very frustrating to spend so much and get so little of a response or concern in return. I suggest you all have a weekend crew to better handle check-ins and issues on the weekends.
