The hotel is ok but a bit weird, we came into the first room which had a distinct smell of plastic burning which was from turning on the AC and when we wanted to get some fresh air the windows were locked? So we asked to open the windows the staff said they can not be opened and can only be done by the maintenance personal tomorrow. When we said we need to get some sleep they changed the room. So we had to buy a screw driver in Walmart just to sleep at night. Mattresses are super old and squeaky. The cleaning is only done by request and next day after you request the room service. And none of the staff speaks English except reception and even then it’s just bare minimum to get by. The back side of the building had a water leak from air conditioners spewing water to the outside so parking lot was flooded. Overall we made it work but it was not enjoyable experience basically only marginally better service than a motel.

The room was dirty. It was SO LOUD and disturbing all the way until 3 am. Them 4:45 am the dumpster was emptied. Again loudly. The beds had springs sticking you, and the pillows we pancakes. Would NOT recommend.

Cons : Hotel is outdated. Our first room had a moldy smell to it, and the shower pressure was non existent, and the shower drain was clogged. Luckily we were moved into another room, but experience the cleanliness to be lacking. Dead bugs on the wall and floor. Took roughly 5-10 minutes to get hot water in the showers. Sheets and window curtains stained with unknown substances. Pros: Breakfast was decent, not much selection and better be early before everything is taken and not restocked. Hotel is close to other restaurants and amenities. Hotel is also close to all Universal parks Staff is friendly. In summary, you get what you pay for don’t expect too much from this hotel. Great place if you’re looking for a cheap place to sleep.

A/C was efficient.Parking was great. However the room floor was very sticky. The desk had dust all over. For a double room they didnt have a night stand onlt the desk with the one lamp between the bed which was inconveniences I stayed there 5 days and no one came to clean the room or take out the garbage give to towels had to go to the desk for toulet paper. However i liked the location.

A) The room was not clean daily, not even once in 3 nights. B) We found a cockroach in the room. C) Breakfast TERRIBLE, no ham, no cheese, no eggs... VERY VERY LIMITED. D) The water... They sell the water (350ml for 2$US)... E) The staff is nice and friendly, this is the only good thing that i can say about this "hotel".

No drain plug for the tub. Water ran continually in the tub as a drip all day and night. Then the $100 hold was actually charged to our card and never returned. Had to dispute to get the hold reversed. Never again!

We stayed here during our visit to Universal Park. The place is reasonable if you’re not looking for anything too fancy. The property seemed a bit old but overall clean. However, I’m unsure if the bed bug issue I experienced afterward was from this hotel or somewhere else, so I’d recommend checking the bedding carefully.

The condition of the room was subpar and housekeeping negligent. There was visible blood on the sheet on one of the queen size beds and the other the frame was broken upon check in. Was unable to have the situation resolved and had to sleep in a room with a blood stained sheet because when I went to the front desk to address the issue, I was standing in line for about 15 min waiting behind other guests to be assisted and had to leave because i had someplace to go.
