Horrible Host, nice house
8 days prior to our stay I was contacted for additional money for my pet. I asked them to show me how my daily rate was broken out because I thought the pet was included in the daily rate. Then I get a message from the host that pets are not allowed at the property. I had to send proof to them that this property is pet friendly while panicking over trying to find someone to watch our dog. 3 days later I get a message from The Host that they reviewed my evidence and I can indeed bring my dog. No apology for causing me distress. I sent back a message that we were no longer going to bring the dog as I was worried we would get there and they would change their minds again. I kept getting bills for the dogs and I kept responding with we're not bringing the dog. Then they actually called me to collect the dog fee. The check-in process was mostly easy except for the line at the gate to get inside the community. The bedding was dirty on four of the beds. The majority of the issues with the bedding was the comforters. They would not replace the comforters. Dust bunnies in every room. Dryer exhaust not hooked up. King bed needs replaced. There was a sock on the pool deck. We were given one towel per person for an eight nights day. Not allowed to turn the air below 70. Fitted sheets not used on the bed flat sheets kept coming off and you're sleeping on the plastic mattress cover. Kitchen sink stoppers did not work. Ask to have the dryer fixed and no one showed up.
