Found 3 cockroaches in our room. 2 alive1 dead. We stayed in the room as little as possible.
Close to 192 great staff good location very roomy Great parking in a garage now the bad none of the TVs worked or had remotes carpets were soil badly coffee but no coffee maker some of the furniture was torn and broken
The hotel is a little out of the way, but worth it for the price. The room we had was a 3 bedroom and though very clean, all of the furniture and decor looked old as if it had gotten a lot of use. It was also very mix-matched, nothing seemed to "go". It reminded me of my first apartment, when I collected odd pieces here or there just so that I could have a sofa to sit on and a table to eat at. This took away from the "resort" vybe. Maybe with newer less beat up furnishings I could have giving it a 5 star.
I will definitely be staying here again. It is away from the crowds but still a quick drive to Walt Disney World and other attractions.
And bring pillows. There are definitely not enough and they are FLAT. But they did bring us more when we asked. The mattresses could use an upgrade -- they are a bit thin, but not terribly uncomfortable. The TV in the living room is the only one with full cable; the ones in the bedrooms have limited channels available. Those are all of the things that could be in any way negative. On the positive side, the views are great, the property is well-situated, parking is totally covered, the units are very spacious, there is nice music at the pool, and the porches are large and screened. If you plan to do much cooking, you may want to bring your own cooking knives and utensils as these are limited, but not surprising. Overall, we would stay here again. For the money is it a good value. We just know what to bring next time.
Friendly desk help. Room and property are just rough around every edge. From its stained hallway and room carpet, broken balcony door handles and a less than a minimally stocked kitchen. 19" television in main room and 1 bedroom. Furniture that's just less than comfortable. This is a great place to stay with friends, but not a family friendly clean kind of place. even the pool had me second guessing if I really wanted to swim. This place did have excellent parking in a parking garage, not large suv/ truck friendly but very nice for cars and small suv. No funky odors in rooms, just worn.
I stayed in a 3 bedroom with my husband, sister inlaw and 3 kids...floors were gross and stained, walls were dirty, beds were uncomfortable, the people staying there and the people working there were.."questionable". The gym was small and old, I dont even think it worked...the saddest part is, my husband and I have stayed at this hotel in the past and had a great experience..I honestly dont know what happened but things have certainly changed, for the worse. With a $40/day cleaning fee..just not worth it. We stay in Orlando at least a few times a year, always in a resort...please choose somewhere else, there are way better places out there
Although staff was friendly and allowed me to checkout after first night, I would not recommend for any decent family stay. Condo is big and great balcony they have dirty caroets. That made us question everything in the cando. Unless you don't mind living in a dirty room I would not recommend to families. Know that if you checkout because if dirty cando you still have to pay ckeaning fee of $40.
The hotel staff were courteous and friendly on arrival. They were able to get us a room earlier than the stated 4 o'clock check in but they said the sofa bed wasn't working. Not a big deal since we didn't need it but a little disturbing to get things started. In the room the appearance looked so-so clean but the most glaring issues were the stains on the carpet throughout the whole suite as well as the fact it looked like they didn't even vacuum at all. It wasn't a horribly cleaned room just not something I would consider clean for a hotel room. The first thing my daughter noticed is the guest room didn't have a shower curtain. We called the front desk but they never came and put one in. Thankfully there was another shower/bath so we just used that. The furniture and beds are of very, and I mean very, low quality. It felt like you are on a screeching metal fabric box when you sit/move on a chair or any of the mattresses. It just felt like things were not attended to like they should have. We went into the pool that night it had noticeable bugs and debris. Not a ton but enough. Thankfully it was dark. If this hotel put more effort into their business it would be a gem and could draw a bigger crowd, there were almost no guests. They charged us a $40 cleaning fee, which we stayed only one night. I guarantee they don't spend $40 of cleaning hours on this room. For a well over $130 stay it can't get even a slight recommendation to anyone wanting to stay there in the future.
Bad bugs everywhere in rooms coffee pots dish washer sinks tubs shower area
Overall a good experience. Furniture/carpets are old but use able. Staff was great.
Beds uncomfortable. Sheets did not fit beds. No extra supplies (blankets) No stoppers in kitchen sink so dishes could be washed. Not cleaned (stuff under beds from previous people). Shower handle broken when I arrived. If cleaned then cleaning person would have reported it. Dryer was broke. Charge a resort fee for use of pool, exercise room, etc even if you do not use it. No towels in swimming area. Movie theater carpet was cleaned at 2:30 in the afternoon and closed that night so carpet could dry. Had to put money in games in order to use the game room. Very few kitchen items to cook with.
My experience here was wonderful, I would come back next year for spring break or over the summer for two weeks, the rooms was wonderful too, it had more than enough room for more than two people staying and be comfortable
This is a great place to stay. We where down for the spring games playing at legends ball park. Easy 15 min drive. This place is close to everything without all the crazy traffic. Our room was nice for the price. Needs a few new things that are warn out, but way better than staying in a hotel room. It was comfortable. Pool area was nice. Pool is not heated but still felt good on an 80° day. The hot tub outside was nice.
This was our second time staying here in the last 4 months, and as avid Disney travelers, we recommend this place for your park stay.. Palisades is close to shopping, parks, and food. They offer great amenities in resort for solo or family. We will be staying here again in 2 months!
We booked the 3 bedroom 2 bath suite and The beds were horrible! They are hard, squeaky, you can feel all the springs in the mattress and the king bed had no box spring! One of the chairs in the living room had a spring poking through it so you couldn't even use it. The chairs in the kitchen had the leather peeling off of them. The bathroom doors squeak really bad! If you had to use the restroom in the middle of the night you woke everyone up! And if you need more towels, you have to go to the front desk, ask for more, then go back to your room place your old towels outside the door & wait for them to bring you new ones. Then when they came to bring more they told my son he has to machine wash them himself! He told him NO that the front desk said to give them to him. The room is very very outdated. The TV in the living room is small but the one in the master bedroom is the size of a computer monitor! There were black spiders in our room. The sinks in the master bathroom were very slow draining. Then between the ongoing noise of people running up & down the halls, the noise in the hallways & the horrible beds it was impossible to sleep! But for a 3/2 suite fairly close to Universal it was all I could find. But for $200 a night & a $40 cleaning fee (which they never came & cleaned while we were there) on top of that, it's definitely is not worth it!
A group of 8 of us came here for a weekend back in June for a friend's birthday and we got the 3 bedroom suite. It was an astounding room with plenty of space and very clean. Would definitely recommend but it's kind of far away from everything. The beds are not the greatest and it would be nice if there was free wifi.
When we arrived we were greeted with kindness and a wrecking shown the amenities. We took advantage of the private theater. When we made our way upstairs to our 3 bedroom, we were in awe of our room. The space was incredible and so comfortable for our family of 5. We already decided that we will be staying here again. Oh, also it is just minutes from the Disney gate!
Big room, full kitchen, good beds, carpet very old and dirty
The room above had kids, and they spent all night till 3am running up and down, with heavy feet, that kept us awake for most of the night, other than that, it was a nice apt. .
