Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

We learned that staying at a Disney Resort is a must! Saratoga Springs was amazing. We were able to eat breakfast in room everyday before we went to Disney parks. Bought groceries and basically had lunch and dinnner out. Disney transportation system is unbelievable. We could walk, take bus or boat to Disney Srpings downtown area. Direct express bus to all the Parks. Amazing staff and the room was great with very nice pull out sofa bed for kids and king bed in 1 room Villa. Laundry and whirlpool tub in room. Pool was great with beer and food delivery and plenty of seating, slides for kids. Manager gave us additional 2 anytime Fast Pass for rides we could not book. It made all the difference for our visit to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. We had early magic hours both days at parks since we were at Disney resort. We're able to start rides 8-9 before mass of people arrived. We finished 3 rides each day without fast pass before 9 am. This alone made staying at Disney Reaort worth it. I highly recommmend. Orlandonitself was amazing and we will be back. There were tons of parks and attractions we did not fort to enjoy.

This was our second time staying on site at WDW. We picked this resort because of the room size (two bedroom suite for our family of seven) and price. We were not at all disappointed with the room. It was spacious and very comfortable. Having two bathrooms was wonderful with all of us trying to take showers and still get to the parks when they opened. Since four of my children are teens, the lack of theming was not a problem. If I had younger children, I might have preferred one of the resorts with more of a "Disney" feel. Our only real problem was with check-in. We arrived late (after 11pm), and after a long day of traveling. Our magic bands, which we had pre-ordered and had been shipped to our home, did not work, so the front desk had to collect and reprogram them. We had ordered food from Amazon to be delivered to the hotel in advance of our arrival. The front desk could not find the packages. We waited nearly 30 minutes for them to look, but they kept coming back and telling us they were not there (even though we had received emails from Amazon telling us they had been delivered). We finally went right outside to the Bell Desk and asked them, and they walked right back into the hotel and retrieved them. The transportation system worked well, and we rarely waited more than 10 minutes for a bus to the theme parks. The next time, however, we will stay at a resort closer to Epcot or the MK, even if we end up paying a bit more.

We had a two-bedroom suite - plenty of room for our family of six adults. Loved the pool - great slide!

This is a huge property and not quite up to the Disney standards we expected. The floor in our room was all wet when we arrived from the in room mini fridge. Nothing terrible about the room, just not quite worth the money we spent.

We visit Disney three times a year and normally stay at the Boardwalk. This trip we tried Saratoga Springs and I probably won't stay there again or recommend it. The bus system to the parks was continually messed up---45 minute wait one day for MK yet THREE buses to each of the other 3 parks had stopped at the bus stop. Bus rides were long, needs more restaurant choices and seems too removed from rest of Disney. On the upside staff was wonderful as usual, main pool super fun and walk to Downtown Disney short. Overall, a nice Disney resort hotel but too inconvenient for us

Grandparents, parents, and 20 month old had a wonderful trip. We had a two bedroom villa which allowed for down time for the baby and privacy. The resort is very spread out with lots of walking. The bus service was time consuming since even after we got a bus we had to make the loop of all the sections. The bell staff were fabulous. We used Magical Express, which was a great savings.

The hotel helped us select a room that best suited our needs. We were situated very close to the hotel amenities. Saratoga Springs was by far the quietest Disney hotel we have stayed at! Be sure to check out the pool and waterslide. Service will be the best if you clarify to the lobby host if you are a Vacation Club member.

The hotel was really nice and the villa was spacious. The housekeeping staff was great and cleaned our rooms daily. The location was great and so close to Downtown Disney. The magic bands were very convenient and allowed us to go straight to our room without going to the front desk for check-in.

Had 48 hours in Orlando. Hotel historic chic in Disney without being tacky. Perfect walking location for downtown and magic kingdom

For 3 dads and their daughters the 2 BR worked well. Nice on site pools with a central location close to downtown Disney. Efficient bus schedules that seemed more convenient then cheaper disney hotels we've stayed at before. I highly recommend the 2 BR units for larger groups as it's much cheaper than two hotel rooms.

Disney's Saratoga Springs Hotel was perhaps the dirtiest hotel I have ever checked into. We arrived late, feeling tired and ready to sleep. After unpacking , I checked out the small kitchen area and it was filthy. There was actually food, (looked like tomato sauce) streaked down the fridge. The microwave also had food caked all over the handle and the door. GROSS! As tired as I was, I called the front desk and asked someone to please come clean it. They did not do an good lob. We were only there 3 nights and did not want to waste time moving the next day, so we stayed in that room. Much to my HORROR, the next day my son found a used washcloth still in the shower.!

Room was nice. Resort was quiet. A bit of a walk to get anywhere, fortunately the Disney buses do the work for you.

Staying on a Disney Property has benefits but this location is far from all four parks and usually means a fairly long wait for a bus and a 15 to minute ride to a park. Downtown Disney is close by and certainly has been enlarged since we started coming to Disney World. The food is adequate at the hotel but nothing special and we ate at Downtown Disney several times. The spa was closed. The one-bedroom villa has a washing machine and full size kitchen and room to spread out. The pull out bed only really works for kids. The studio villa is just that, a mini-refrigerator, microwave and a couch. The room decoration is nothing special. Several good size pools with slides that were very kid friendly. The grounds are nicely landscaped. They do not allow late check out and we did not get our room until 4 but they have a refrigerated luggage room so that the cooler bag did not result in spoiled food in the 90 degree weather. All this being said, the price was more economical that some of the other Disney resorts that would have resulted in shorter bus rides. The staff is exceptional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Overall, the resort was nice and we didn't have any major issues. The kitchen appliances were showing their age, but the rest of the room looked nice. Only thing that didn't work was the WiFi. We called once, and they reset something and it worked for about 5 minute and stopped again. There was hardly ever anyone else around, so good place to go if you don't want to be around a ton of people.

Almost everything about Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa was perfect. The only real drawback was the overall size of the place. I wish I'd had more time to take advantage of the resort's features...there's so much to do without ever leaving the property. My advice is to plan for some down time to take advantage of resort's activities.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa(paddock). We had a king suite and a 2 queen bed room. It had 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. There were many activities for our little one on the resort, I would recommend staying an extra day or two just to have fun at the resort it's self. We were next to a small kids pool area, that our 3 year old loved! It had two small slides and a water area she could run around in. There was also a larger pool with a slide for the adults. There are bus stops through out the resort to take to the parks. The bus rides were a little longer then excepted. Waiting for a bus and then getting back to the resort could take an hour if not longer. That was the only negative thing I would say about our stay.

This property is huge, includes a golf course and about 4 different swimming pools that the kids love. The personnel in the reception is very kind with the kids and give a lot of stickers, hats, etc. The reason I don't rate this hotel better is because I was expecting to see one of the characters in the hotel, Mickey, Donald, whichever, based on the price. There are other properties in the area, not Disney of course, at half the price of this one with the same cleanliness and comfort. The bus service runs fine.

Staff/service was fantastic, hotel is a bit old but nice for the price. TV's were not HD, could use an update. Great service, transportation.

This hotel was excellent for our family of five! Fabulously clean, especially for an older property. Fun pool, with zero entry for the baby to play in and a water slide for other kids. Upon check-in, we were treated like royalty, lavishing the kids with stickers, tiaras and buttons and granting Mom and Dad a wonderful surprise of having a room available for a 9 am check-in. The property was gorgeous, albeit quite large. We were shuttled to our room, which although it was on the "older" side, more importantly was pristine! Our one bedroom villa actually had a door that closed off the bedroom from the sleeping area in the living room, allowing for different nap times and bed times. The washer and dryer were very convenient, allowing us to pack lightly. The kitchen was fully stocked, from silverware to dishwashing soap. Everyday the cleaning service would not only pick up our room, but also load any dishes into the dishwasher and clean the kitchen - allowing us to get up early and get to the parks. The hotel's shuttle service to other areas of Walt Disney World worked great. Only once did we wait more than 10 minutes. The only issue that prompted me to rate this hotel a four was the hotel's main line. We heard over and over, just dial Zero for help of any kind. Most of the time the hotel staff did not know the answer, or worse, gave us wrong information. Everything from, can you tell me where I am staying in the resort (it was a HUGE property), does the shuttle run after 10 pm, is there transportation back to the main lobby, child care services, dvd rentals...often times my husband and I would both call and get different answers. Other than that, this was a wonderful experience. Great hotel for families, with excellent accomodations.

Wonderful hotel! Minor housekeeping issues but the rest was an incrediable journey for our staycation! The room was great with a beautiful view. the grounds were beyond compare! As was the main pool and spa. It was a short trip so unable to do everything but we will return, can't wait!
