My family and I (9 adults, 11 kids aged 18 mo-16 years) stayed at the property for several nights. Overall we had a positive stay, but there a few kinks that needed to be worked out. I would likely stay there again.
The good first: The host responded quickly to requests and was easy to work with. We had some later additions to our party and they worked with us, which was appreciated. I was late on requesting the heated pool and BBQ, and they also worked with me on that (the pool was not quite warm the first couple of days, but that's likely because they didn't have the five days advance notice they request). They addressed some other issues we had at check-in fairly quickly (see below). The property itself was enjoyable, with a few caveats. The kids loved the bunk beds with the slide, as well as the pool. The pool table and arcade games were also a bonus. I appreciated the crib and high chair for my 18 month old. There was plenty of seating and kitchen equipment. The internet, when it was working (see below), was fast enough to handle streaming on multiple devices. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was in good condition.
Now the issues. I'm not sure if this is a relatively new rental for them, but there were problems right off the bat at check-in that I'm frankly surprised hadn't been addressed. First, the WiFi had no connectivity, which meant no use of the TVs, either. The compounding issue is that the property was a dead spot for all of our phones, with multiple providers (we had a mix of T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity). This led to problems with several business meetings and calls. We checked in on Saturday, and it took until Monday evening for it to be resolved. In their favor, they were fairly easy to communicate with over the issue. Second, turning on the lights in one room caused the breakers to trip for the entire house. They quickly sent a maintenance person the next morning, although he was unable to fix it. An electrician arrived on Monday. Again, I appreciated the quick response, even if it took some time to fix, but I wonder how this hadn't already been identified as an issue. Finally, there was a lack of some general amenities which I've had before at Vrbos that are a nice touch, such as extra towels, washcloths (they note they don't provide those), hand towels and drying towels for the kitchen, basic food items such as spices/salt and pepper/condiments, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc.
