Very nice campground with full hook-up. Picturesque lake with paddleboards, two pools & other activities. Two nice restaurant/grill/bar. Family friendly. Convenient to golf courses, casual restaurants. Provides a wonderful naturist environment.

I have been coming to Cypress Cove for a number of years and I have seen many occasions where kids were in the pool having fun and when a splash went awry the poor kids were admonished by the resident adults in the pool. Either you're kid friendly or not. Choose

I travel to Orlando once a year for business and fly my wife out after my meetings are completed. We checked in around 10pm after a Universal Orlando visit. We were tired but it was quick and easy. A really cool thing is the electronic wrist bands that are the key to your room. As a nudist, how many times have we had to search our bags for a key with our hands full to get into our rooms? It doesn’t get easier than scanning your band and the door unlocks, very cool. The property is beautiful and we spent the first day enjoying the lake view, very peaceful and relaxing. The second day split between the lake (kayaking) and the pool. The food at Cheeks is very good and reasonably priced unlike a lot of nudist resorts (a beer cost $2.15)! We enjoyed playing trivia Friday and Saturday night with the regulars. We checked out Sunday morning after breakfast and just had a wonderful experience. The bill was quite a bit less than I anticipated even after buying my wife a few things at the gift shop. We will be back again next year.

This was our first visit, we met some of our friends there and it hopefully will not be our last. Our accomidations were excellent, the staff were great and the property was well kept! The other guest were friendly and pleasant. The restaurants had good food and the wait staff was great. Couldn't ask for more.

Cypress Cove is certainly one of the top nudist resorts in the US, and I wanted to use this review to highlight two aspects that may not be fully appreciated. The first is the lake - at over 50 acres, it's one of the largest, if not the largest, nudist lake in the US. Cypress Cove provides paddleboats, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, all at no cost. It breaks my heart to see almost no one using them. You do have to ask for paddles and equipment at the desk, and it's not super obvious that 1) Cypress Cove provides the equipment and 2) it's included at no extra cost. Get out there and use it - it's one of the best things about Cypress Cove! The next is the value - many places charge day fees on top of lodging or camping rates, which can add up. Cypress Cove does not, and the lodging/camping rates are plenty reasonable to start with. It's also okay to bring your own drinks and food out to the pool. Many other places won't let you do that. If you do choose to use the great food and service at Cheeks (and why wouldn't you!), it's tremendously reasonable. All or almost all sandwiches w/ fries are under $10, the portions are huge, the service is great. Drink prices are reasonable too. The "what you get for what you pay" value (accommodations, food/drink, day fees, all of it) at Cypress Cove is better than any other US nudist resort I can think of. My one recommendation for a future project - there's not a ton of deck space for chairs around the main pool, which is hemmed in by buildings. The lawn between Cheeks and the playground is used for overflow, but it seems a bit downmarket. I'd love to see some improvements to that area. Decking or paving at least, maybe a conversation pool, maybe a big canopy (like over the playground) for guests who prefer a seat in the shade. Overall, Cypress Cove is top notch. For all of these reasons, Cypress Cove is almost always my recommendation for people seeking a first time nudist experience, or anyone just wanting to enjoy a great property!

This was our third visit to CC. We've been long-time nudists and like visiting different resorts/clubs. we found a lot of changes since our last visit but the people still friendly, polite and engaging. Our condo (1153) was remodeled, very clean, had all the amenities required for our stay and housekeeping was awesome. The grounds were immaculate, the pool area always maintained and spotless. The weather was great everyday, people were so friendly and helpful. the spa services were good and fairly priced. got a great t-shirt, beach towel n my wife got some nice cover-ups. we love it here. Our only complaint was the Lakeside restaurant. We ate three of the four nights and each time the meals were terrible. The service was very good, Rose did great by us, but the food was pretty disgusting. 1st night got the Parm-over roasted chicken....was like parm covered cardboard, the side veg of summer squash and other indistinguishable vegetables was terrible and should not have been served. Rose noticed how i was having trouble eating the chicken and brought out some marinara sauce to wet it down somewhat. The 2nd night my wife ordered the Pork Chops. First they were pork loins, not chops, (no bone). Second, they were so over cooked she couldn't eat them. Rose took them off the bill. The 3rd night was Steak night. We both ordered the Porterhouses, med-rare. They came out looking like very cheap, bad Ponderosa steakhouse rejects. Dry as a bone, unevenly cut, 1/2 inch thick on one side, a 1/4 inch on the other side. Had to have been the most disgusting piece of meat we've ever been served. And, at 29.99 each, we felt like WTF. The last night we ate at Shuttlebutts. We ate our breakfasts, lunches and our last dinner there. Every time it was good, never a complaint regarding the food or service there. It always came out as ordered and was fresh n hot. We love CC and will for sure go back, but until they change out the Lakeside kitchen staff, we'll pass on eating there. We heard a lot of others complaining regarding the Lakeside regarding the quality of the food being served.

My wife and I just returned home yesterday from a 3 day, 2 night stay at the Cove. We enjoyed ourselves soaking up the sun, the friendly people, and the activities all over the place. So relaxing to be among so many people of all ages, shapes, sizes; newbies and regulars; black, white, brown, tanned with or without tanlines; gay or straight; tattooed or not; residents and visitors from all over the world; all enjoying the freedom to be nude. Nudists are just so non-judgmental, laid-back and accepting, it's an unbelievably liberating feeling. The wonderful variety of humanity can be found and accepted at Cypress Cove. The staff at the Cove continue to be first-rate. Nina greeted us at the office and took care of our check-in details--so friendly and professional. Great food and service at "Cheeks", thanks to Lisa and Herman. At the" Lakeside Restaurant", Lorna was our server both evenings. A long-time employee, she was so friendly and efficient, and even remembered our names the second night! We swam in the two beautiful pools, and also pedal-boated in the large, peaceful lake. Saw the head of one alligator pop up way off in the distance...it is Florida, after all! If you want to meet lots of people, you can easily find friendly people to get to know. If you want some space...lots of that, too. And it's all beautiful. Cypress Cove is such a special place. The immaculate grounds, the caring staff, the residents and visitors you meet, and the accepting, friendly vibe all make this an experience not to be missed!!

We love to be fully nude in a social setting- and this is the best place I have found for that! Eating, shopping, sunbathing, dancing, taking walks and hanging at the bar fully nude is a fantastic feeling and all should try it. Cypress Cove has very nice facilities and rental rooms and it makes staying there very enjoyable. My only issue is people who do not disrobe. If they come to a nudist resort, isn't that the point? So then I feel they are only there to look at others. I wish something could be done to push people to be nude- as that is what the resort is designed for. I find this same situation and all nudist resorts. But, we have a great time at Cypress Cove and I look forward to our next visit!!

This was my first time staying at a nudist resort like this, and it was an amazing experience. Walking our dog through the neighborhood of permanent homes, with all the big beautiful trees, was like being in any other well established neighborhood with friendly chatty neighbors... but we got to do it clothing free! Fantastic! It was comfortable and liberating, I didn’t want to leave! I would definitely come back, and looking forward to future visits!

We've been nudists forever, members of a resort at Land O Lakes FL, but had never visited Cypress Cove. Spent weekend there with our naturist club from SW FL. Should have gone years ago! Great staff at check in, food & beverage service, housekeeping. Really enjoyed our long walks around the community with the big trees shading over the streets. Lakeside piers and deck chairs so relaxing. We enjoyed the Cove so much that visit, we stayed at Cypress Cove enroute to Jacksonville for business the next weekend.
