Typical Bait and switch with the pictures shown-I’m assuming they were taken when the resort first opened and not 20 years later. The on-site restaurant is out of business, the pool looks like it’s at the baits motel, elevator out of order-according to other reviews for months. The shuttle service isn’t worth even trying to use. They charge you a $15 per day resort fee even though their are truly no amenities. The indoor pool and gym shown are behind the hotel at an outdated ymca not at the resort. Their is nowhere to park your car at the hotel-even though they give you a placard to place in your car-parking is not enforced. The bed, pillows and sheet they give you are similar to what you find at your 90 year old grandmas home with a 30 year old bed. We were booked for a week and literally didn’t stay at the resort at all because it almost ruined our vacation-please don’t stay here or waste your time.

didn't like the fact that there was no free breakfast buffet. I thought the web site said there was one. Everything else was better than expected - nice large room, good pool and patio area, maids and cleanliness were great. Some trouble with elevator, very slow, when working.

Hospitality and cortesy. The facilities are excellent .

Tired old property struggling to keep up. While I have stayed here previously and it was worse, they have yet to make improvements drastic enough to keep going. I was charged a resort fee, after Orbitz clearly states it is included, and when explaining to the front desk the situation I got 3 different answers about when this "new policy" went into effect. Any sane hotel would have just honored what was agreed upon through booking and contacted the booking site. We booked 2 rooms and the things became laughable after that. One elevator was out of order the entire time while the carpet outside and across from my room was as if acid had been dropped on it and ate the fibers. There were small stains in what looked like relatively newer carpet. The batteries in my remote and alarm clock were missing, while the batteries in the safe were corroded to the point of leaking and there were only 2 out of 4 in it. There was an XL clothing sticker (the long ones) stuck to the closet door, who knows how long its been there. The shower curtains were either way too long or they mounted all the rods about 5inches too low. They use refillable wall dispensers for shampoo and body wash and the body wash was empty except for maybe 3 pumps and they never refilled even after leaving a note. My second room had a musty odor that just wouldn't go away. The appliances and lamps were completely different in both rooms. Clearly the signs of a property without a clear vision or standard.

To view of the attractions across the street and in the near by location.

Have a very terrible experience, really bad experience.

The property itself was fine. We were VERY unhappy with the fact that our hotel reservations were lost!!! We arrived in Orlando at 1030 pm, only to find that our hotel reservation was booked at a different hotel. After spending over an hour on the phone with an Orbitz representative, I had to re-book our rooms myself & was only able to get 3 out of the 4 nights that I had originally booked. We were forced to pack up & move to another hotel for our last night in Orlando, which I had to book myself as well. The nightly room prices were much more expensive than were quoted in my package, so now I have to take the time to send the Orbitz team my receipts so that I'm reimbursed accordingly. I will NEVER book through Orbitz again!!!

The first two days, I did not have any maid service. Once I told the front desk, the maid came on the third day to clean the room. When I woke up the next day, I realized there were no towels to use after a shower so my wife and I used a wash cloth. The next day, I got up to shower and realized once again there were no towels. I went to the front desk and let them know. The woman I talked with was very empathetic and she went and got me towels personally. On the last day, I had my luggage with me and went to the elevators to find out that the only working elevator all week is now no longer working after standing there for over 5 minutes. I was on the 6th floor and had to use the stairs with all my belongings to go downstairs. I have stayed here for 4 years in a row and this is the only time I have had anything like this happen.

Maid service only provided every other day. No restaurant in the property only a small coffee counter. Property lets sales people on site to put advertising hand bills under your door every day. The front desk could not even provide me with a fork or spoon.

Nothing it was a dirty loud and uncomfortable stay with no sleep

The Pros: The cleaning staff did a great job cleaning my room each day. The other positive is that it is walking distance from the Rosen Aquatic Center and you get to swim there for free. I enjoy lap swimming so that was a bonus. Lastly, it is close to a lot of major shops and restaurants and I found myself walking instead of having to drive everywhere. The Cons: 1. I walked into my room and it was musty smelling and on top of that, there was what looked like blood splattered on the carpet (I have a picture). I'm not sure how the cleaning crew could miss that and allow the room to rented out. I immediately requested a room and it was granted. I was surprised that I was offered a discount. 2. If you book on Orbitz, it is just for the room price. You have to pay an extra $15 a day resort fee. This is not Orbitz fault. I have stayed at plenty of resorts and I'm not sure what the extra $15 was for. There was no extra amenities that a normal hotel would offer. 3. A picture is worth a 1000 words. Don't trust the pictures online. They are fabricated. The picture of the pool look beautiful but it is definitely photoshopped. I sat at the pool the first day and paint was missing all throughout the pool deck. 4. Lastly, I walked out of my room early in the morning and locked myself out of my room so I own that responsibility. I walked to the front desk and It was 6:25 am. There was a sign that said "Be back soon". No desk attendant showed up and a maintenance person let me in.

There was no free breakfast. That needs to be removed. The recreation center was under renovations pool was clean. They left the frig open with a towel in it

First room beds were as if someone layed in them. Second room smelled terribly (moldy) & air conditioning didn’t work. The carpeting in all three rooms looked VERY dingy(stains all over) Mold in the shower tiles. Only one elevator worked. My family’s first trip to Universal together.....wasn’t so great. First and last time staying there.Very disappointing.

Property is close to everything -great But rooms were out dated Bed fell apart when we sat on it Elevators where not working right Serval other guests had commented that they reported it to staff and was not addressed Staff was lazy and front desk girls a little rude Reserved a king suite got a 2 queens instead

Cockroaches and many different types of bugs, i took a few videos. Fan is not working in the bathroom, no hot water for the first night, fire alarm went off at 1 am on my first night while we were asleep, front desk called at 10:30 pm on my second night while we were asleep.

Staff was unprofessional. Took 20mins to check in. No Wash Towels in room.

Very dated poor quality hotel just disappointing not as advertised
