My family and I have stayed at multiple houses within this community. And while the community, and the check in of this house was great, the happenings once we checked in, and after we left we’re anything but great. Upon check in, the temperature of the downstairs was 79 degrees. Within an hour of arrival (5pm) I messaged the company and was told to keep the doors closed. I messaged again when it started climbing in the evening towards 80 degrees. I again was told to keep the doors closed, and eventually we managed to get someone to come out after having to trouble shoot things ourselves. That person told us they can’t help us and we’re just sent out to “check.” By evening we were forced to purchase fans, and gather upstairs, as downstairs was getting too warm for comfort. By the am, the temperature downstairs was 86 degrees. We were forced to leave the home until 2pm when we finally begged, hourly, to try and get help. In addition; the play station was not useable as described, the pool was shocked on Sunday rendering it unusable most of the day, until after the rain helped to dilute it. Upon check out we were charged for things that were noted to be either broken or not working since before we arrived. Having provided the company with all of our time stamped photos (luckily taken when we got there) they have yet to respond to us about our concern for the charges as well as some sort of compensation for the 22 hours we were without AC, as it’s a basic standard amenity.
