We arrived late at night and the staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was very clean and the accommodations were perfect for their value. We stayed in a suite with a kitchen, stove, and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable.

Was nice, other then the people over our room were very noisy.

The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The room was clean overall. However, there was old coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Other than that the place was spotless. Loved the small kitchen in our standard studio suite. It was equipped with everything we needed.

Great place ! Couldn't get the DVD to work other than that everything was good. Friendly front desk staff as we'll

Had to kill the heat/air at night to avoid being woken, and the internet connection was maddeningly intermittant (fine for browsing, but not so much for working over a vpn). Otherwise this was a good comfy room in a quiet location.

RFather small for a suite, Extended Stay kind of place. Unhelpful staff. Better use mapquest for direction, because the staff can't tell you where to find it. Strange location.

Candlewood Suites was perfect for a seven day visit for a family gathering. As long as you understand that there is no maid service during your stay, you will get an acceptable stay at a reasonable price. The small "honor" store has every item or food you might need at very reasonable prices. The "fitness center" was very small but okay for our purposes. Only complaint: towels, though readily available, are stiff and rough. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Needed a reasonable priced hotel in the area for one night. Wife had a class Saturday morning and the reports of a snow storm coming on Friday night which would close the pass for us getting through on Saturday morning. I was able to book it online a few hours before we arrived. The snow did close the pass, glad we were able to find one on such short notice. It's location is a bit off of the street next to the hospital with only a small sign at the turn.

I was in Irvine to see my brother at the UC Irvine campus and after searching for some time the Candlewood was cheapest and closest to the campus based on the maps. It actually was a further than I thought, but only about 5-10 minues drive time, so not too bad. The hotel is right next to the 405 which made travel easy. THe only complaint was that it smelled like old people. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone staying for awhile and are not minding a bit of a drive to get around, but the 405 is fun to drive anyway.

It was great to be so close to the shopping! But I expect that when I check into a room I have clean towels and dishes to eat off of.

Our travel was for the purpose of visiting our grandson. This hotel was only 7minutes away from their place. We had been staying at another hotel, but it was so noisy with people stomping above you at all hours of the night and they needed far more maintenance than they were doing. This hotel didn't have that. As far as we were concerned, there was nothing missing. They had outdoor grills for our use and a outdoor siting area.

First timer, so it was all good... :-)
