We had chosen Olhuveli Beach & Spa resort for our holiday for 11 days , a stunning 4 star hotel which offered whole spectrum of spectacular activities. First of all, the resort was located on 2 islands (always something to explore), close to Male (45 minutes by the speed boat) in the heart of the Indian Ocean. The islands were full of trees, plants, flowers and beautiful vegetation that adorned everything around in every corner. Lots of spectacular spots to take pictures, the awesome blue sea and turquoise lagoons were just breathtaking. The hotel itself was very clean, there was a whole staff that cleaned it around the clock. ‎‏The staff - exceptionally nice. Everything from reception staff and dining rooms to gardeners and maintenance workers who always said"hello" or "good morning and good evening" when we came across them. Helped us with everything we needed and always found a solution and answer to any question. ‎‏Kids Club was absolutely amazing, our daughter Vivien (6 years) wanted to be there every day. It offered numerous different activities for kids of all years and the staff was having very friendly and personal dedication to every child. Thank you very much. We strongly recommend to stop by and show it to children. ‎‏The food - as part of the "all-inclusive" package we were given the option to eat 3 times a day at the hotel's buffet (morning, noon, evening) plus we could choose to have lunch by the pool at the Island Pizza restaurant or snack on the bar with all kinds of small sandwiches, fruit, and pastries. In the evening there is an option to choose to eat at Lagoon restaurant and choose a 5 course meal from menu. ‎‏Sunset restaurant (buffet) - where all buffet style meals are served. Beautiful and spacious dining room, lots of space, and a huge variety of food. In the evening there is a different style of food every night. The food overall was very good and tasty. Anyone could find something that can like, the restaurant has had a priority for fish and seafood, beyond that there was always plenty of vegetables and fruits, breads, plentiful desserts, vegetarian dishes and endless side dishes. ‎‏Water Sports - As part of the all-inclusive package we could use a variety of non-motorized sports such as paddle boards, double / single kayak, windsurfing, etc. In addition, we got 15 minutes per person to use the jet-ski, our son did love it. Spa - there are 2 kinds of spa in the resort, the regular spa near the reception and the ocean spa. ‎‏Tours outside the island - As part of the all inclusive package we could choose one trip outside the island. The options were - a trip to a local island, a trip to a lonely island, a snorkelling safari trip, and a sunset cruise searching for dolphins. We chose sunset cruise searching for dolphins. We saw a huge dolphin family (about 100) swimming near us and it was very beautiful and exciting !! And we even have seen couple of whales, they had not been seen by the captain of the boat for 3 years. It was a great experience and I recommend to everyone! Accommodation - initially we were in Deluxe villa; nonetheless, it was not big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children, we moved to Sunset beach villa with a private swimming pool. It was absolutely gorgeous, stunning view, private swimming pool, recently new villa with awesome outside bathroom. In conclusion, we would like to express a warm and big thank to Mr. Afeef, Mr. Shabaj from the Sunset restaurant, Miss. Shaisha from the Dream island and the Kids club staff, hopefully see you again. Thank you.

This place is very beautiful and mesmerizing specially the dream island. We really had a great great time during our short vacay, thank you very much olhuveli management and staff for your awesome hospitality.

We had a really great stay and perfectly relaxing short vacation, just what we needed. We have stayed at grand beach villa (room was so spacious and loved the open air shower) Food was great with lot of choices. Absolutely loved the pool area in dream island where I found it very peaceful and relaxing. Thank you all for your hospitality, you are all very wonderful.

The resort is gorgeously landscaped to feel the minimalistic Maldivian look yet keeping the tourists' convenience in consideration. The rooms are luxurious yet cozy and it has a little private beach view which was great. I really loved the meals buffets in the main restaurant. I enjoyed some of the many entertainment and sports facilities available, and the equipments seems well maintained 👌🏽. Really cherish the tasty evening teas by the poolside bar whilst listening to the live DJ and floating in the beautiful pool. My only regret is that i couldn't go (did not get the time) for snokelig to check the famous house reef of Olhuveli. Definitely reccomend Olhuveli not only for the above mentioned reasons but the friendly and welcoming staffs as well. Hoping to visit again soon. P.S. DO NOT MISS THE SUNRISE & SUNSET VIEWS EVERYDAY THERE.

I passed my open water diver certification with Masha and she has been a great instructor. The dive center is excellent, and it has been a pleasure to pass My certification there! I truly recommend diving there!

Our stay at Olhuveli Beach Resort was an excellent break. Relaxing by the gorgeous pool area with endless options of fun. It was great to have evening tea by the pool right after a good swim. The food was absolutely wonderful. DO NOT MISS THE MANTA RAY SPOT IN OLHUVELI : The most exciting experience seeing them from the jetty at dusk. I particularly thank Mr.Afeef who made everything go smoothly when we arrived and departed. Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful mini vacation. Keep up the great work, will definitely visit soon 😀

Travelled here for our honeymoon Accommodation: 2 nights in Grand Overwater Villa (dream island) 2 nights in Grand beachfront villa (main island) Diamond all inclusive package This was a really nice hotel, but needs some organisational changes to become a great hotel The booking process, boat transfer, and check in was all very simple. Marta (staff member) was lovely and checked us in, whilst explaining clearly all the inclusions of our package The overwater bungalow was incredible, had amazing views from the deck, as well as an underwater light to attract fish (though no glass bottom). Lovely bathroom, comfy bed and lounges, and an overall really nice feel. The main restaurant was quite nice, with themed dinners (ie Spanish, Mexican, Indian, barbecue etc) and a very good selection of dishes, breakfast was especially good. The all inclusive package was fantastic, there were 2x pages of cocktails available, as well as red/white/rose wine, beer, gin/vodka/tequila, and soft drink, coffee, tea, water etc...more than enough choices! We also had dinner at the Plankton Grill, which was very romantic, and tasty! This was included in our honeymoon package, which was a nice bonus The beach villa was also very nice, except it had an “outdoor” bathroom, which sounded nice, but practically was very hot/humid and also caused the floor to get a bit dirty We did the snorkel safari which was a nice way to spend your morning - boat trip, then 3x different snorkel spots, seeing plenty of fish, turtles, coral etc and some nice sun! Areas for improvement: - communication!! Everything when on the island is done in island time. We were told we would be notified in the afternoon about when we would need to change rooms. When I hadn’t heard, and I called reception, they said I would get a letter that evening before dinner. After dinner, there was still no letter, so eventually at 10pm, we were informed about the checkout/room change procedure for the next morning. - similar thing happened with our actual check out letter (received around 9pm) - the checkout process: unfortunately we had a very poor experience with Shamu at reception, who again was working on island time, and didn’t quite understand our frustration with the lack of reliable information that we had been told regarding our checkout. The breakfast was also incredibly poor (cold bread with jam and butter, cold croissant, 1x muffin, 1x piece of banana bread) - transport to and from the dream island: this is a real issue that they need to fix. It is a long way from one island to the next (~25min walk each way) and then depending on where you are on the jetty, it could be another 5min to your villa. The buggy service runs every 30min, but never seems to go on time, and will often leave slightly early or late, meaning that a lot of the time you can be waiting 20++ mins in the heat (or torrential rain) for a car. This is especially evident at peak meal times, when the buggy can also fill up and you may not get a seat I think they need to run this service every 10min, especially as they seem to be building more villas on the dream island, otherwise I would stay somewhere else - the adults only pool: unfortunately isn’t adults only, as the generic rule sign next to it says that children can be accompanied by an adult. When you have young screaming kids swimming/playing there, it really detracts from the otherwise quiet and peaceful environment that an adults only pool creates Overall, we had an amazing time staying here, and will remember this trip fondly. There were a few gripes, which unfortunately had a decent impact on our stay, but those aside, it really was a “dream island”

Enjoyed Every Bit of Hotel / stay / Staff courtesy specially Ms Gadha / food / drinks / water - pool / Sea / island cleanliness / bar / pizza / weather / water sports n lots more . Good place for people loving water and water sports - snorkelling / Scuba / Jet ski / para boat / etc . We stayed in Deluxe Water villa and it was all worth it . Could see baby sharks / Fish / sting rays and many sea creatures in crystal clear water directly from room . We did swim n snorkel in sea and with varieties of fish saw sea corals ... it’s all worth it . Must visit and best place for couple as well family .

This is a very convenient place for families, business people or honeymooners. The island is very big and have many activities and facilities. The island is just 45 minutes ride from the airport. Lots of food and beverage outlets and many different type of rooms on two islands. Convention centre, gym, two spas, and many more to enjoy. Diving, and all different type of water sports activities available. Kids Club, medical center is a plus point for this island. Olhuveli is a perfect place for any type of holiday.
