All hotels built or Reno’d later than 1993 in BC are required to provide accessibility for the handicapped This place didn’t even have handicap buttons on the doors, and the handicap stall is literally as far from the suite as it can be Staff were unaccomodating and refused to move us to the first floor. Then when I went to complain the next morning I find out the manager “on duty” Khalid was in fact not on duty and was in Vancouver, over 6 hrs away. On duty. The girl at the desk most in charge had only been employed for two days or so she said. And we’re supposed to put our faith in this team to handle an emergency? Never doing another Sandman again.

Terrible hotel with some really nasty rooms. Anything is the basement is cold, musty and damp. 250 per night and look at how dirty the windows are. Would not recommend

There is loud humming noise over night during the four day stay in unit 129 did not get much of a sleep.

The good parts: quiet overnight, a/c worked well, 2nd room I was put in after complaining was clean enough, bathroom was clean, staff were very nice & professional. Not great: overall this hotel is shabby, hallway carpets were absolutely filthy, no parking available when I returned in the evening, room smelled unclean, window stared into a rundown apartment windows next door so had to keep curtains closed. For the price I paid, I expected much better.

Paid for a king size room with walk in shower. Arrives at 11:30pm. Got to our room and it was not cleaned. All that was left was a small queen size single room. Was not impressed at all. Guy at the front desk felt horrible, gave us $20 voucher for Denny's.
